Honestly, I'm not a sportsbook gambling expert. I've been betting online since I was 18 (about 6 years) and I've mostly used Bodog. For some reason, after 3 CC transactions from my **** DC in a couple of days, my bank started to question the transactions and asked what they were. They charged back the transactions. I had around $1200 in the account at the time, and they charged back $1500 worth. Bodog closed my account even though I told them it wasn't me who initiated the chargebacks and told them I'd even send them the negative $300 via person to person.
So at that time, I looked around and found WagerWeb.com. I've had no BIG problems with wagerweb, I've always been paid, the only real problems with them that I have is that their juice is really high. I look at other books and see something like -110 for a game and then its -125 or -130 on wagerweb. They just seem to charge more juice than any other book I see regardless of the type of bet.
I've actually hit some really good luck and got my account up to around $15,000 and am starting to get it off wagerweb. It should take a while, I can only withdrawal 3000 at a type via cashier's check and I am still waiting for the tracking number on the first 3,000. I would imagine its going to take 2-3 months to get it all out, assuming I don't win a lot more or lose a lot more.
My question is, for a US player, what is the best books to look into? If everyone could give me their top 5, that would be great. I really like football and basketball teasers, so website with really good teasers would be ideal.
I really liked bodog because they had 3 team 8 point basketball teasers that I was really good at. I seemed to rarely lose them in college basketball, and their 3 team 10 point football teasers were good as well on my bankroll.
Any input at all would be fantastic. I know there are some US books right now that are considering leaving the US market all together so I hope I can find one that is very solid and won't leave the US. I just recently found this site and I come on here all of the time just to read from those who know a lot more about this industry than I do currently.
Thank you very much,
-Joe
