Vivant is merging with Sunrun, after Tesla, SunRun has the market share of home solar. Enphase operates in the microconverters for panels and uniquely able to collect data which may allow ppl to sell their energy to other homes. Sunpower sells hardware for panels and likely to be a merge target as well but some are convinced Sunpower can be more of a global player by selling parts and components globally.

Solar stocks will continue to be fire for years and are pricing up considering a Biden presidency, just have to be careful in short term as some of the smaller cap companies will likely hold share offerings to raise cash. In some cases those could be good buy opportunities.

There are solar companies in some emerging markets like India and middle east where it’s hot af and cost of solar is rocket bottom.

Chico that is obviously doubling in 5Y but most here seem to want 5 or 10 baggers. I am perfectly fine with a 2 bagger in Five Years. Doubling is very nice in my book.

We usually see what we want to see....you show the same chart to a bear, he or she will say it's a bearish flag pattern! I guess that's why we have markets....

Locked and loaded on IPOB cost basis $17

Here’s a pretty comprehensive look at Opendoor and some insights into why I’m buying https://www.google.com/amp/s/seeking...state-services

i would just add the customer satisfaction isn’t as good as I’d like but I think raising money through going public will improve and narrow this gap. Another thing as well is if future economy landscape is dire many would be looking to sell homes to ibuyers w/o the perfect offer.

Leadership looks good and given valuations on Redfin and Zillow this is a great opportunity 👍🏾

I understand...I told myself back in April when it was apparent we would see a tidal wave of liquidity into market that I would sell everything on 31Aug anticipating a second wave of infections in the fall. But, I changed my mind and stuck out the September sell offs, now I’m at more all time highs. I am not hedging anything for elections because I think the market knows a blue wave would create more liquidity to offset any increase in corporate or capital gains tax. I do believe there will be prolonged crash, but just putting my hat on, like if I was the devil and wanted to maximize profits, I would wait until everyone was back in the market, and that most likely means once the vaccine is out and ppl feel safe to get back in. That’s when I am running for the hills.

Hell they have been "talking" for the last couple of weeks and I see no movement on this at all. We all know it is just political bullshyt and the market will react accordingly soon enough. Gold will probably go down to around the 1850 or a little lower soon and I will pick up the shares I sold off then. So when am I wrong? I'm wrong when gold rises above the $2000 level again, if this happens, I'm still buying back the shares I sold today because at that point gold will be breaking out and moving to newer all time highs. Regardless however, I will hold onto and possibly be accumulating more miner stocks before they report.

Bought some AMC today @4. I think if we start seeing major shutdowns could even get back to $2-3. I’ve been waiting for pullback and this seems like a reasonable price to partially enter. I’d add more at $3.5, 3, and just completely fill my position below 2.5.

Very little profit taking at all in the miners today, Slurry Pumper.

It's for real this time - not only is Mnuchin offering Pelosi 1.8 Trilion
but Trump said he's willing to go even higher. The world scene is becoming more unpredictable
and the big money is moving into precious metals not only as a hedge but as a safe haven.

The miners have underperformed the metals but that will begin to change soon - because the earnings
go up on an increased ratio to the product. For example if the price rises 20% the earnings are impacted 100%
    for some of these producers.

I am in agreement with you snowballer, I just think that there will be one more pullback in gold. I did sell a little bit of my GDX which as yall should know is the ETF for gold miners. I also sold some GLD which is just straight up gold . I hear ya with the Card Board Cutout of Himself and Chupacabra seemingly coming together and the Trumpenator authorizing the increase in the amount for stimuli. I just see the whole thing as a house of gold plated cards built up for the purpose of each side looking like they are doing something. I don't see Chupacabra agreeing to anything, and that includes her original plan that she passed several months ago. If the right capitulates and decides to go with that, she will just come up with more demands.
Then even if Mnuchin pulls a rabbit out of the hat, and lets face it, have you seen his 'ole lady, he has the capability. I don't see the republicans in the senate going for it unless they get the final number in the bill down to under 1.5 Trillion. They do have constituents that look for the spending to be curtailed. Even during the pandemic times. This thing is far from over in terms of talks. 1 more pullback before the launch in my opinion. I may only get the price of gold down at $1850, but I'll load up at that level and maybe take out a second mortgage if it goes to $1800. All of this happening in the next 2 weeks or less.

All in all however, I agree miners are woefully undervalued and Gold in general takes off as the uncertainty in the world increases in the coming weeks. Next week I think the market overall is set up for some down days, if and when this happens, I'll be looking for gold mining stock to see how much relative strength they have.

Then again if gold just launches from here like you expect, I'll jump back in when it gets to around $2000 or over the high from July. At that point all the maneuvering will be over, and I still think the miners will run as this will be a multi-month thing.

Alright I didn't do much this week in terms of positions that I hold overnight at least.

    AQB: AquaBounty Technologies

This is the fish growing stock, and it moves quite allot on a daily basis when you consider the price of the stock. I'm waiting for it to come back to $3.87 before I pick more up, around $1500 worth, and I'm stopped out at $2.35. I think I'll also pick up $1500 worth of stock if it breaks out above the high of around $5.25. Off the opening bell on Friday it produced a nice break down candle on the hourly chart and has since made a bearish flag pattern going into the end to the day so I kind of expect some more down side in the near future. I don't know if it gets to my buying price target soon but I'll wait and see what happens. Right now I literally only have a $100 into it so given the daily price movement, I may even scalp trade this thing into the future.

Like my post above, I believe that the gold miners are totally oversold. Stocks like AUY, and KL and some others are in this camp as well. I'm buying more when it breaks out above recent range highs of $30.91. Until then I'm holding on. I expect gold to pullback after the stimulus talks die down before the election, and if the gold miners go with it, I'll also load up some more at a sale price.

    CCL: Carnival Cruise

I'm kind of disappointed with the outcome of this stock. On Tuesday morning this stock finally shot up to around $16 and I shave a little off of my position to the amount I wanted to just hold onto until a Kung Flu vaccine comes through. The play is the vaccine will liberate the stock price. Well just after I sold a little and set a stop loss at $15.31 the Trumpenator sent out tweet and the market plunged. Anyway, I'll take my $63.70 for my efforts the last couple of weeks and move on. I still want to get a vaccine play so I'll look at it some more next week to see if I want to get back in. I haven't been in a mood lately to take on equities that I'm holding longer than a few hours but maybe that will change.

    GDX: Vaneck Gold Miners ETF

This one has been in consolidation since the highs in gold prices hit in late July. It has only pulled back to the 25% level on the Fibonacci pullback meter. I sold off 1/3 of my position in expectation of a pullback after the stimulus talks die off probably next week. We are just too close to an election for anything to happen. I could be wrong, and in this year anything could happen, but I just don't think either political side will be willing to give the other side a talking point. Even when they would both benefit. Politics is a game of leverage and this close to an election means you go with your hand you have. After the election, I expect all hell to break lose and that is when I expect gold to start the rocket launch. Until then I'm betting the prices go on sale for a few weeks.

    GLD: SPDR Gold Trust ETF

I sold a little more than half of my position over the last couple of days in expectation of 1 final pullback before all hell breaks loose. I think the price of Gold comes back to around $1850 before it gets to $2000 again. So basically I'm jumping back in at either level but not before. Everyone is betting that there is going to be rampant inflation real soon, and I just don't see it. I think there will be rampant deflation before there is inflation. Still like having gold around because the uncertainty meter should be off the charts starting around election time. All we need to make it even higher is to have some a$$hole country start to make a move on one of its neighbors they have been fighting with. Its been a while since we have had a conflict of this nature and in this year of all bad news all of the time, it is probably about right for that to happen.

    SCANNER STOCK:

Friday I had a Can'tidate that came across the criteria.

    DELL: Dell Technologies

You know the drill, on Monday if it can stay above the 9DMA ($67.88), I'll buy 20 shares, or an amount of shares divisible by 5 but having the total cost remain under $1500. My immediate stop loss is set at the 20DMA ($67.05), and the criteria for keeping this stock is that it remains above the 9DMA, and if it dips below, I give it a day to make it back above. If it does great onward we go, if it doesn't, then it gets sold.

I've emptied piggy-banks and rewickered a couple of old IRAs to free up some more cash. Plus I've got a bunch of short put contracts that close next Friday. So I'm ready for lower prices for the miners and royalty streamers. Like you I'll buy more at higher prices but am hopeful we get another pullback. Have a piece earmarked for tech too but won't chase that, Bears have me waiting for some sort of a market meltdown.
