This is patently false, and I don't appreciate it. I most certainly did not attempt to buy anyone's seat. Someone said they couldn't play and would entertain offers to sit out if it got to HU. I was already out, so I couldn't possibly factor into this. I did casually remark that "I would pay a shitload of points to play in the main event." That in no way constitutes an offer to buy someone's seat for 1000 points. (Someone else, who actually was in the game, did say they personally would pay 1000, so I suppose that is where he got the number from.) As far as me "supporting Bateman" goes, I said if he thought cheating took place then he should report it. That is, in fact, the proper thing to do. I said at least 5 times that I was not saying cheating had taken place and that I had no idea if it had. To insinuate that it is wrong to tell someone to report suspected cheating is ridiculous.
