This guy had a similar run in with the police after they got a call about a man pointing a gun at people at the "Brass Monkey Bar" and when he wouldn't comply they had to sick "Dozer" the K9 on him.

Once the perp entered the vehicle with his back to the officers, the police were forced into "shoot or be shot" mentality. They had no clue what his next move was going to be, could easily have been grabbing a firearm from under the seat.

if someone broke into their house and there was a bat, knife, broom, mace and gun available.. 99% of people would take that gun and light that intruder up.. without knowing if he even had a weapon. yet they expect police to act different, because it's THEIR life on the line.. not their own.

well, that ultimately leads to the main issue. this country has a serious problem with respecting police. regardless of whether you agree with them or not on a situation, THEY ARE THE LAW. your life in this country exists on obeying those laws and those people who protect them.

when a cop tells you to get off the phone, get out of the car, keep your hands where they can see them, get down on the ground, etc. YOU DO IT. it's not up for debate. you're not a kid arguing with your parents. you're not having a disagreement with your spouse. you're not fighting with your friends. you 100% do what a cop tells you. and with that, you'll be just fine.
