    Nah. Those big sites have obviously been allowing people to set up fake products to launder money.

    Have cash from crime or black market business? Use it to buy a $5000 item "from yourself" under a company name, suddenly the company has clean money.

    Or Steal a credit card number and do the same thing.


    The kiddie sales theories are definitely tin foil hat lover stuff though. It's just plain old money laundering. Amazon etc who have been allowing it deserve massive fines IMHO.
