I see no point in fearing something that is guaranteed to happen, There is certain ways to die that I fear, personally I would like to either have a massive heart attack and die on the spot or go asleep and never wake up.
I fear a slow painful death

100% chance that everyone that you ever seen will die. Friends, enemies, celebrities etc..
    No reason to fear it.
Just live each day like it's your last day.

Fear God, and beat the 2nd death,...I'm already dead to the world, but you wouldn't know it because I have life through the Spirit. I don't fear death, but I do think death sucks...in general

I don't know about you, but if I lived each day like it was my last...within a month I'd end up broke, fat, homeless and despised. And probably in prison.

I actually think the opposite. Live each day as if you plan to live to 100.

I've been close to death a few times
didn't fear it then but fear it somewhat more now
probably because I want to be 100% right with the Lord.
It's difficult to love God sometimes but I trust in Jesus.
We have to admit that whatever it is, this place and

About six weeks ago, I found out I have cancer. I'm 53. At first I was scared, but I've kinda made my peace with it. I start chemo in two weeks. I don't know how long I have left, but for sure I won't see 70. That part of it is kind of a relief - knowing that I'm not going to have to deal with all the problems that come with old age.

Sorry to hear this. Look into alternative treatments, chemo is really bad news and is not successful most of the time.

Vitamin C infusions...look into it. Miracle worker that the medical establishment won't tell you about because it would cost them the billions of $$$ they receive from the cancer racket.

    Best wishes to you.

That is terrible. I guess most of us are under 40, so would feel differently as we age. 53 is still young.

Same here, was hydroplaning, steering wheel spinning out of control, closed my eyes and resigned to what I thought was a sure death, I was going about 80 mph, raining so bad I couldnt see in front of me really. From where I hit the first wall on the side of the freeway where bumper was and where I ended up was about 70 yards away, ended back up in the middle lane where I started, car totaled completely smashed, freeway full of cars but didnt hit any cars and no one hit me, no scratches nor anything done to me, couldnt believe I was alive, crazy experience to think surely youre dead and then youre not.

You know a thread like this is going to attract a handful of fukkin morons, that's why you can't help but click on it when you see it.

You are the big winner in here SO FAR.
This could still change in the future, but you have a big lead.

"Everyone was dead before. You don't remember the billions and billions of years that happened before you were born. You were none existing and you will be none existing." That's what I've been told. But I honestly do believe there is a God and devil. How else do you explain where every living creatures come from?

I get goose bumps reading this, I also was in a car accident, with an old metal bronco coming dead at me, vehicle took over both lanes of a two way road, so I was stuck in the middle of it, and got slammed by the truck doing about 40, I was dead stop.... Not a scratch.

2 lane road just reminded me of something I was looking at on youtube a while back about scariest roads in the world. Accidents are no joke, I witnessed a couple also.

Ladder slipped on concrete during a light rain while i was at the top doing a roofing job in new Orleans after Katrina, thought I was a goner for sure. Luckily the ladder fell under me and slipped forward so i bashed my face on it instead of the cement if I had fallen backwards...about 14 years ago when I lived in Chicago my gf and I were driving home from stl on i-55 in a blizzard and my car did a 180 after slamming the brakes on the icy road to not hit a pickup that had suddenly stopped. Now stopped myself facing oncoming traffic, a van came barrelling at me and smashed right into me. Scariest thing ever. Somehow only had smashed bumper and headlight.

Sad thing is even with these humbling experiences we all take life for granted
