The funniest thing about cowardly idiots like you StateChamp, is you are oblivious to the most obvious and time tested realities of man. Since man first appeared on the scene, some men have wanted to rule the world, and whether thats done through conquest of brute force ala the Persians, Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, or force based on the "greatness" of the state ala the Roman Empire, to force based on religion (ever hear much about the Cathars anymore?), force based on "civilized" expansion of European empires, force based on political ideology ala communism, national socialism, or modern day force based on science and "progress", or even when one gang of Cro-Magnons wanted a piece of every groups hunt (or face getting bashed in the head by force), that's one constant throughout the history of mankind. The most time honored form of conquest though has been done by stealth. Stealing your money and your liberties, all while you are happy to give them both up, is the most sinister tyranny of all, and has been done by partnerships of bankers and governments since before Justinian and Theadora.
It sounds like as long as you can have your little house with a small yard, 2 cars, and some crappy job that pays 75k-100k a year, you really don't mind if your freedoms are taken away. You seem like the happy serf of yore, allowed to keep your little piece of land, as long as you pay the kings men when they come around, swear allegiance to the crown and do whatever you're told by them, who of course will keep you safe and "protect" you from all the "uncivilized" invaders of the time. Meanwhile, the King and his family are adding another wing to their already monstrous castle.
You mock and put down some on here who have the simple intelligence to point out the obvious, when you're the one it appears who deserves scorn or ridicule, as you are a pathetic lamb. Perhaps if you need a job, you can come over and mow my real large lawn, and I'll help you make your 75k/yr.
