    Pony up $5 and get a month subscription to consumer reports. You can get the reliability reports from all the major manufacturers. 4K resolution would be nice but the technology is still relatively new so the price point might not be a good value.

    My LG looks and works fine.

    Don't forget to save a bit for a sound system or sound bar. Why pay all that $ and not have decent audio quality. You would be surprised. A $90 Insignia sound bar from Best Buy will enhance the quality of audio tremendously.

    This a great tube for the price. Minimum borders, good screen and great sound. Add Apple TV for 50 bucks more and your good to go. Good luck 3D.

    I always just check ALL THE REVIEWS on a particular model at Amazon. People just tell it like it is... Love it.

    I constantly read stories about screens cracking.... just by trying to hang the TV to the wall. Weird.

    Is there really a bad TV out there anymore? I've got an LG, Samsung and Vizio and all work the balls. I think the Samsung has the best picture if I'm splitting hairs but it could simply be that I paid more for that model while the LG and Vizio may be in a slightly lower category (model wise). Costco always has excellent deals.

    If there will ever be sun light/glare in the room younare putting it in, go LED. If not, you can't go wrong with a panasonic plasma
