    What's the weirdest named person you know in real life?

    Who do you know in real life that has a weird name? List them here. The only requirement is that you must know them in real life, not just some name you read online or something like that.

    Here are mine:

    -Worked with a guy named Bagel when I was in high school
    -Know a pair of twins named Ronathan Hester and Lonathan Lester
    -I know not one but TWO Lonathan's (you have seen me post on this forum about the other one)
    -Went to Church with a girl named Travis
    -Work with a girl named Horyce (pronounced like Horace)
    -I know an Indian guy whose cousin is named Buckingham and his middle name is Palace, last name is Matthew so Buckingham Palace Matthew
    -Guy I knew in high school, his dad's name was Babi(pronounced Baby)
    -A guy my mom works with is named Quti(Pronounced Cutie)
    -My nephew's little league team is the king of weird ass names, has the following names: Jayedee, Brayedee, Bonson, Evanie, Blakie, Keegy, and Reesie. Talk about overdoing the "ie" sound at the end of names. What is our country going to, parents these days....

    In my early to mid-20's, I dated a girl named Happy. Not a nickname, this was her given first name. Her middle name was Leigh. Thats right....Happyleigh.

    I create user login accounts and email accounts for work. My former co-worker and I send each other funny names. Some of them are Asian names who chose English first names.

    I'm not sure why African Americans think they are 'slave names' if they pick normal names for their kids.

    That would mean that if they grow up learning English, they are learning slave language. Why not speak an African language?

    On a somewhat related note, last year when I was in California I helped teach a Sunday School class at a large church, and the racial makeup of the Sunday School class was probably 65% hispanic, 20% white, and 15% black.

    Anyway, the most common names for the girls(I swear this to be true) were Rihanna, Aaliyah, Ashanti, and Beyonce.

    I think too many of these parents need to stop getting naming inspiration from R&B artists.

    My cousin just had a baby and named him 'Ace'

    I know Ace isn't outrageous and there are others with that name but I still think naming your kids with an odd/unusual name can only lead to negatives in life.
