What cell phone do you use?

ready to get rid of my saved by the bell cell phone but have no idea what to get.

I see cell phones for free but they are all 2 year contracts, how much

How many gigs do i need. How much for 2 hours a day of facebook, sbr, yahoo and espn on the phone?

    Does internet suck on it.

Wanting a smarphone i guess but i know these 69 dollar a month packages are probaly closer to 80 bucks after the tax and fees.

Is the cheap plan good enough?

    Looking at these 2 phones

If you're going to watch ESPN on your phone for any real period of time a month, you'll need an unlimited plan.

I have a blackberry style through sprint. Solid phone, but the browser is pretty bad. It has Sprint TV with ESPN though, which is definitely cool.

I just added the phone to a relative's plan, so it's not too bad. A new single line unlimited plan probably will run you $69/month though.

If you want to surf the web a lot though, don't get a blackberry.

    Verizion Casio® G'zOne Commando

It is the most rugged cell there is. You can also save your use of your plan by using wifi whenever you can. You will be surprised how many areas and businesses have free wifi, There are many apps to help you find free wifi plus you would be surprise how many people don't password their personal wifi.

Warrior... just keep the phone you have if you want to live in the stone age. Lower your plan. Switch to Morse Code... that might even save you more money.

But if you want to get an unlimited, switch your carrier, save a few bucks, and get into the 2010's... I'd go with Sprint. Anytime Unlimited... Unlimited Data Included. Go with the iphone for $99 or go with the HTC EVO $49.00 (offered in some stores). I have the HTC EVO when it came out June of 2010. I love it. I'm sure the iPhone is much better though. That phone's release date is around December 9, 2011.

ttwarrior - if you're really serious about a phone. I'd go with verizon. Why? because if you are a sports better you can watch espn3 on your phone. Which comes with ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U and ESPN 3. Otherwise, go with ATT or Tmo(if they have good coverage in your area) and be done with it.

If you dont plan on making many calls or using minutes, get the lowest plan. Put on google voice and also be done with over-paying for stuff. Free txts and calls in the US.

I read he has a phone and wants a smartphone. That's what people do with a smartphone. I assume you do not have a smartphone? All that serious bullshit can take a backseat. Besides, it comes with the territory when he does get a job.

If you're in the US, you might be waiting forever. No release dates. Supposedly 12/8 or 12/9 but not from Verizon's mouth. Think this would be a bit out of his price-range. 200-299 on contract. 700 without...yikes.

well yeah, the price is a little ****** for a phone but it is well worth it, and remember it's a phone it's not out yet... I personally was going to wait until Jan or around that to buy it... when price lowers a little bit and the new ICS Android OS gets it's first update fixing all the errors first versions come with

Its out in Europe. US? Who knows. It is a nice phone. I'll just wait for people to start porting ICS to other phones (root). I"ll also wait for a true 4.7" screen. Don't like those software buttons not being able to drop down to use entire screen (only for video/picture).
