Sorry guys long time no update
I know I have not been updating the thread too much. I took out some funds to pay/buy a few things. Anyway, my funds have kind of been all over the place and I could have updated, but it would have been messy. I was constantly withdrawing/depositing every few days as I wanted to use the funds for certain items and I kept moving money around poker sites. It has been a pretty decent month. I played 1 tournament and cashed for 3rd, I also made a good amount playing some 10NL-20NL. My goal for this month now is to play some 50NL.
So what now?
Poker
Taking money out definitely hindered my progress to reach my goal. That is fine, I used some money to pay rent/loan to people close to me/and buy the sickest overcoat ever (Boss Status). Therefore, I have about €350 in credit I will be allowed to play with. Playing on credit will definitely make this thread interesting lol. I am about 10 hours of play away from a €150 cash bonus which will boost my roll to around €500. At the moment, the 20NL games are my bread and butter games. Over this past month I had a 8bb/100 winrate and an 11EVbb/100 winrate. These are games I have no problem beating. Yes variance can take its toll, but these are games I feel very confident in and I don't think variance will impact me too much as if I played in harder games. Therefore, any amount over €400 can be used for higher stakes. I'll be shot taking 50NL aggressively and I think I can handle my own with table selection. Once I get this cash bonus I'll be able to shot take, so we're almost there. Now I am hoping over this month to transition to 20NL fast fold games. These games would yield a much higher € hourly return. I am a bit worse in these games and they are higher variance so I won't touch them until I can increase my bankroll a bit. I have a pretty insane RB deal, although there are a lot of nitty regs on the site.
I've been reading a lot of poker books and watching videos so my play has definitely improved. A lot of poker definitely seems to come down to the mental side of things. As I increase my bankroll I'll allocate resources towards coaching/learning products.
The goal for poker is to make €1,000 this month. From there my goal will be to make €2,000 in December, so €3,000 before the end of the year is the target. At that point I'll be able to play 100NL and starting making some cash.
Sports
As far as sports go I will be starting with a $97 bankroll. I only have betpoints at the moment, but I can purchase sportsbook cash so every 15 points=$1 for me. I'll calculate everything that way. I've got a few system plays in place whenever they may come up so I am confident I'll turn this into $500 soon enough.
The goal for sports is to have a BR of $500 my the end of the year.
I will begin posting hands and write-ups for games in this thread. Feel free to comment and post your picks/hands/progressions/thoughts as well.
