and unless wiki has the wrong PPV numbers for WWE, it is not even close compared to UFC for averages.

With the WEC merge and all the new up and coming fighters, numbers only have one way to go, up. Another thing to consider is that WWE buys have dropped a lot since one year ago. The more popular UFC becomes the more fans from WWE and boxing will switch over.
I don't know how much stock I put in 'industry experts' words, but I'm hearing UFC's numbers will level off.

Haha i dont know where you are "hearing" this but mutli-billion dollar corporations and millionaire investors seem to disagree with you. I suggest you do some reseach on UFCs future plans, you will see the sport and their brand is about to explode globally. You can also search up Turnkey's recent poll.

2010 UFC had 16 ppv events and averaged 597k buys

2010 WWE had 12 ppv events and averaged 283k buys

You guys are blowing loads on this event and I doubt it hits 1 mil.

I don't even know why people buy ppv's, I've never bought in my life and watched every single one of them.

Yup. The same lame retort I get every time from the UFC apologists.

I never said the fighters weren't skilled dipshit. I just said they were pansies. Like I said, watching a couple grapplers go at it is like watching a basketball game with no shot clock. Or football with only play action passes and no smashmouth running game.

No one gets into professional fighting with the inspiration to become a grappler. They want to knock somebody's block off. They only become grapplers because the rules make it the easiest (read: laziest and pussiest) way to win a "fight." Submission holds are basically the UFC equivalent of the three point line. Which means grapplers are the JJ Redick's of UFC.

It's a skill for pussies. Face it.

^you are delusional if you believe any of that. A skill for pussies, you should let the people who have a little bit of knowledge on the subject comment because you obviously have none.

you clearly have no idea what you are talking about but good luck with that

Ufc 66 had 1mil ppv buys, not even close to their highest. In 2010 alone UFC had 3 events that sold a million ppvs and 2 that did 850k.

Check your facts. Ufc 66 is top 3 all time and highest grossing ever.

So since 2006, all these ppv's , they've only had two ppv's that topped it and that was by an inch.

    Keep talking.

you better check your facts, let me give you a suggestion wiki.com

Go watch some tv kid, one of your wwe sitcoms might be on.

    In 2009 UFC had a 1.6mil and 920,000

In 2010 UFC had 3 events cross the million mark.

maybe you cant do math but go ahead keep thinking they are falling off. I guess you know more than all these companies shelling out millions, you should call Kswiss quickly and tell them to cancel their new deal with Jon Jones.

No, people get into grappling with the inspiration of becoming professional fighters.

I will assume you have never trained in any form of grappling, or you are just trolling. Maybe you should take a trip to your local gym. If you live in NJ, I'll be happy to choke you out .

Getting into grappling with the inspiration of becoming a professional fighter is the equivalent of getting into figure skating with the inspiration of playing in the NHL.

(It's for pussies that are missing the point)

No I've never trained in any form of grappling. But then I've never needed to. The next time I struggle scrubbing the eyebrows of some dickshit jersey trash off onto the pavement maybe I'll look into it.

Grappling is for the pansies looking to avoid a fight. If you can't see that, well, I'm sorry. You're a douchebag that's been brainwashed by the same sort of self-serving wannabe hipsters that think Radiohead is good rock n' roll.

I'd like to see you try that f\*g shit in a real life scenario. There are no tap outs on the streets brother. Just one dude coming at you after another. And you better be prepared to put them down as fast as you can. There's no time to just sit there for 90 seconds while you cut off some dude's oxygen supply. Now if they've taught you how to smash in a guy's trachea, all right. Maybe your skills will come in handy. Otherwise, you best stand back and leave it to those who know how to incapacitate somebody a little faster than the time it takes to heat up a microwave dinner.
