In the Match Play championships three years ago, he was playing Clark.
Clark was lining up the match winning putt, Tiger was right in his face.
Clark took a step back, stared back at him, then drained it.

Word is they almost came to blows in the clubhouse.

there are many other incidents with tour players that you never hear about. the guy just wasn't outgoing or friendly enough (except with his blonde women) although he probably abused them too. he will never win another tournament.

As we all know Tiger has made some swing changes with different coaches (Harmon, Haney & Foley (Present). Here is my breakdown of his coaches:

Harmon: He played his best golf when Harmon was his coach. His golf swing was sound, mental game/focus outstanding and his shortgame and putting was incredible. He won the Tiger Slam and looked like a lock to break Nicklaus major record. Enter Hank Haney & Tigergate.

Haney & Tiger gate: Tiger started his swing changes with Hank in 2004. He did win a bunch of tournaments with Hank but I think his swing was getting worse. IMO, he was still winning because he was still mentally sharp and his shortgame was incredible. Then came Tiger gate. Tiger gate came at the worst possible time for Tiger. His golf swing was terrible (Haney managed to turn a well oiled machine into a rusty gate), mental/focus was at an all time low (Cheating etc) and his putting became ordinary. Anyone who has played competitive golf knows that you can't compete at a high level when you aren't focused. So Bad swing combined with no focus and average putting = Tigers worst year. Enter Sean Foley.

Sean Foley - IMO, Sean is a good coach who will get Tiger back to swinging like he was pre Haney. There will be some differences but he will back to controlling his ball flight. His swing is already light years better than when he worked with Haney and will only get better throughout the year. The only questions know are can he get his mental game back and start making putts. This is going to take some time. He went from the perfect athlete/person to being made fun of on Saturday night live. Tiger had basically hit rock bottom.

Like I said in an earlier post I think Tiger will win 1 major and a few tournaments. Why, because he is Tiger Woods. If he starts putting again and regains his pre tiger gate focus, the young guns on tour are in trouble.
