Thats why the 9 win total is a great bet.

Packers loyal cheese head fans would be devastated if AR left. Not good for football.

If he decides to return, it will be right after the Pre-Season week 3 (last) games. That gives him plenty of time to get ready for the season.

If Rodgers leaves... he'll never be the same QB... have to learn an entirely new system...

Cool story... every great QB has to act like they're god. He's crazy to think he'll be anything like Brady as he gets older.

Yes, even if by some freak chance Love or even Bortles has to play, they can finish 9-8 in that division. Grab over 9 if you can get it!

Of course, I agree with this because I believe AR will be there 90+% and worst case scenario I have a shot at a push.

Adam Schefter has been a hack on this issue since he made up the story on draft day. More ESPN shenanigans.

I mean, he’s clearly not giving two fukks about this season whether he plays or not and oddsmakers are still going to have to respect the fact he’s Aaron Rodgers and he will always get lots of tickets placed on GB, packers an EASY fade ats if he plays this season.

Aaron Rodgers Rumors: QB Declined Packers Contract Offer to Be Top-Paid NFL Player

    ADAM WELLSJULY 20, 2021

A new wrinkle in the saga between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers has come to light.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rodgers turned down a two-year contract extension earlier this offseason that would have made him the highest-paid player in the NFL.

The reported disconnect between Rodgers and the Packers has been one of the NFL's biggest offseason storylines.

Schefter reported on April 29 that the reigning NFL MVP told some people with the franchise he didn't want to return because of frustration with the organization.

Per Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, Rodgers will consider a holdout or retirement if Brian Gutekunst remains Green Bay's general manager.
A new wrinkle in the saga between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers has come to light.

Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes will be the highest-paid player in the league this season with an average annual salary of $45 million.

It's unclear how much the reported extension would have paid Rodgers, but he'll be the fifth-highest-paid player in the NFL in terms of average salary in 2021 ($33.5 million).

The Packers could get out of Rodgers' deal with a $17.2 million dead-cap hit after this year. He has a $14.7 million salary in 2021 and $25 million salaries in each of the next two seasons.

Rodgers led the NFL in completion percentage (70.7) and touchdown passes (48) last year. The nine-time Pro Bowler also finished seventh in passing yards (4,299) to help the Packers win the NFC North with a 13-3 record.

Green Bay will open training camp July 27. It's unclear if Rodgers will report on that date.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams could easily clear up exactly what their intentions are for their futures in Green Bay by using their words on social media. Instead they’ve chosen to use pictures and leave the situation up for interpretation.

Both Rodgers and Adams posted a picture of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on Instagram on Friday night, leading to a great deal of speculation about what, exactly, they were referencing.

Perhaps they meant they’ll both be back in Green Bay in 2021, but they’ll both be elsewhere in 2022. That would fit with the fact that Jordan and Pippen’s last season with the Chicago Bulls was chronicled last year in the widely viewed documentary, The Last Dance.

Or perhaps by referencing The Last Dance they were suggesting that they’ve already had their last dance together, and Rodgers is preparing to announce his retirement. That’s what some sports books are bracing for.
