take the emotion out and you will agree its not bad. There aren't really any better teams in the NFC than the eventual winner of the NFC East. They may have a win or 2 more but it's not like they will be taking a playoff spot from the Seahawks or Saints.

If rams-cards is the early game and the rams win, nbc is stuck with a meaningless packers-bears game. If the bears-packers is the early game and the bears lose, the rams can rest all their starters thus giving an unfair advantage to the cardinals to get the last playoff spot.
