Id just prefer weekly payouts be in betpoints so it looks like a lot more and can be spread out


for instance, i think a 4-2 week winning your best bet should also get same as 5-1 losing best bet

Just admit it. Going 6-0 is very hard to do. The odds on hitting a 6 team parlay is somewhere between 75-1 to 100-1. 300 dollars for going 6-0 shortchanges the bettor, but most don’t realize this. If anyone had hit a 100 dollar 6 team parlay they could buy the prick and pick 6 contest.

Yes I have won with the new format but strongly agree with the consensus here and still finding myself waiting for half numbers so I don't push lines this years. I want units deciding this and not actions points, like BTP had.


What I didn't like about BTP is not being able to play all the games. I want the whole NFL menu available to me. If he picked 5 of 6 games in the NFL and you don't follow NCAA closely, it made it impossible.

The tiebreaker is awful too. It’s geared for someone to pick college games

And with Covid, you have to wait to put your picks in since they don’t let you re pick if a game gets canceled. It will eliminate you from going 6-0

No, hitting 58% and finishing 25th and getting $100 when a person going 6-0 gets $300 shortchanges the bettor. Most people realize this. It also makes for a boring contest.

They don't have to exclude the games. Could just be Beat SBR and have those picks count. Or just payout weeklies in betpoints without beating anybody. Just call it Pick 6 and payout betpoint winners. You do not need to beat anybody.

The biggest problem with the contest is actually that SBR thought it would be more exciting to have weekly winners than full contest winners. But the truth is that people are bored by winning $100. And non-PROs do not give a damn about becoming a PRO.

He picked mostly pro games so he could have clobbered the field. People got a lot of betpoints with the format and this one does not payout many. As absurd as it is, people value betpoints at almost the same rate as dollars. So everybody was happy. With this contest, everybody is pissed.

Maybe they will tweak it next year. Give out less bitcoin and more betpoints. Notice that I said prizes in my previous post. I don't have an issue to give people more betpoints instead of bitcoin.

Wasn't the last time BTP was offered a disaster? I believe people were colluding with their plays and the winner was found to be sharing his plays with others. They banned the colluding posters but let them keep the winning prizes.

well you cant give 600 points for going 1-5 with a pick 6 on your 2unit play and only 175 points for going 5-1


this is more of a luck contest


id suggest keep the pick 6

60pt freeplay for picking the 2unit pick 6 return and cover....540 points gets added to the payout pool per poster


so if 100 people had a pick 6 2unit play---those in the money would have 5400 extra points to split


in this way you could add 4-2 winning your best bet as a weekly payout winner



also, go back to weekly payouts in betpoints only

Very unfair in weeks where there are byes when he would take up the majority of the NFL slate.
