What do you think, he's going to hit .346 with 30 plus bombs every season?

Last season is pretty much was what he is,
That being a .290 - .300 hitter with 25- 30 homer power, a run scoring machine that wins gold gloves in the outfield.

He's not Trout, but Trout is a once in a life time rarity.
Nash, he plays in friendly parks(home and away) and in a loaded lineup. 2017 is an outlier. He’s a 900 ops kind of player in a friendly hitter environment. That’s very good but not even close to Trout.

If Fishboy decided to opt out this season, his jersey was going right in the trash

    No more pussies needed

You can platoon any OF position for less than $6mm combined and get .285 / 25/ 80 rbi

You would suffer a bit on defense but to save $30mm a year this contract is obscene and has no basis in reality. Noone driving to the park to watch Mookie Bets.

    Deal includes $65M signing bonus, salaries of $17.5M, $17.5M, $20M, $25M, $25M, $25M, $25M, $30M, $30M, $30M, $27.5M, $27.5M. Total of $115M deferred. By contrast, PA values Gerrit Cole’s deal at straight $324M (9 x $36M) because contract does not include deferrals.

Mookie is a dam good hitter. Without a doubt. Problem again, they just make too much dam money to hit a baseball and pitch and field. They want to bullsh*t all of us with equality right? BLM, BLM, Washington Football Team.....why don't we just make everyone get about the same money regardless of what they do too? That would only be fair right? I mean most of us are f*cked right now. I am kidding. Teachers, doctors, different trades....should make more. Not the same as each other. The sports is absolutely out of control.

    BLM, BLM, BLM

    Washington D.C. BLM's (replacing Redskins)

National Anthem - Black guy Dodger's game

I've seen enough. It won't last long before I not only don't watch, but probably won't bet. I still haven't bet since March.

I can't believe SBR lets an ignorant racist like JJ represent them. Sad.

Mussina's Yankee contract paid off nicely though.
But for every ten long term contracts nine of them are dogs.
But Moose pretty much made every start for the Yanks on his long term deal, most of them being quality starts.

Now you got Kershaw and Betts on Dodgers team the top earners in team it will create jealously among the other players you would think. Not good for team chemistry i think.
