The Big 12 should be left out for a few years. Oklahoma has shit the bed on too many playoff/championship games the last 20 years. Doesn't make any difference if they are undefeated or not. They are playing checkers whereas their opponents are playing Big Blue Level Chess

Lol., I guarantee Sooners are def hurting the conf chances going forward. No chance that doesn’t stick in back of committees mind. Of course all they really care bout dollars and Sooners a big name who draws well. Pretty good argument could be made this been a big factor for them in deciding the 4th team many years!!

How great would it have been if they didn't have 4 teams with year and did a 3 team round robin.


4 is the perfect number. Most years 2 teams are clearly better than everyone else but this format protects for years like this where 3 teams are head and shoulders better than everyone else.
