Clemson’s defense is damn good. Best secondary and that defensive front not too shabby. They leave for games like this.

DABO is genius at motivating too:

    - first team since 1966 to be preseason #1 and go undefeated but NOT finish reg season #1. he will use this all day long

    - many players from Georgia who would love to play the semi in ATL but are "getting shipped out West". again, he will play the disrespect card.

ohio state has motivation built in also, have lost the #1 seed.

    LSU? major TARGET

The easiest play in the Bowl Season. Clemson - 1/2 first half line. Clemson loves to take early leads and Ohio State plays like caca in the first half.

How in the hell did Oklahoma get a SOS of 13? They played just 2 teams that were ranked in the top 25??? Why isn't OSU and LSU for that matter higher?

Yeah but how do you go from playing

    UNC
    Duke
    NC State
    Wake Forest
    South Carolina
    Virginia

to then play an Ohio State team who will send the entire offense and defense to the NFL?

I mean that is a big adjustment no matter how good you are. I expect Ohio State to get off to a fast start if you watch the Virginia vs Clemson game UVA was having no trouble moving the ball in the 1st quarter

TOLER you have a short memory.

2018 clemson only beat texas a&m by 2 on the road

only beat Syracuse by 4 at home

I bet you brought those up last year before they beat the absolute brakes off of Bama

no I was on clemson last year and bama the year before that and clemson the year before that Ive been right about the title game at least for about the last 4-5 yrs. Im throwing stuff out there since people seem to have tunnel vision a lot of the time when they like a side, Im leaning clemson this game also syracuse and texas a@m were actually pretty decent last year while unc had to win their last 2 games to become bowl eligible

Not the same Clemson team man. Lawrence has regressed. I think he throws atleast 2 picks with the Predator in his face. Maybe Clemson's RB goes for 150? It seems like he's been there forever. I like Under 63.5, but let me tell you something about this Ohio State team. My Indiana Hoosiers ran all over them the last time they won a National Championship about 6-7 years ago. Tevin Coleman ran all over them. One recent year we lost 52-49 in Bloomington. I watched the early season IU-Ohio State game. DIFFERENT BUCKEYE DEFENSE. They had 2 guys smacking receivers as soon as the ball got there! Truthfully it reminded me of Clemson's defense except their big monsters on the D-Line are gone. Clemson beat nobody this year and I think that takes a toll here. Actually my big bets will be before that game so lets see where my bankroll is by then, but Under 63.5 makes the most sense. Passing is going to be tricky in this one with both teams having such strong ballhawking secondaries!

Clemson beat no one LY either then they wrecked ND and bama in a two week stretch to end the season.

Dabo and his boys are damnn good. That's why they're favored.

False. Addressed this in another thread. Lawrence's numbers/ratings are better in every significant stat with one exception, 8 ints this year vs 4 last season. Five of those were in the first 5 games. That's with sitting a lot of 4th quarters. He's gotten better as the season's progressed. Anything can happen, but I wouldn't use his so-called regression as the basis for my bet.

Clemson replaced a truly all time great defensive line this year and watching their games they have played very well. But this will be their first big test against the best Oline they have seen and a great RB in Dobbins.
The key to this game is if Fields is healthy and able to run. If he is still gimpy Clemson has to be the play.

14 tds/8 picks at one point.....with that schedule of Woffords and Ga Techs. I was big on Louisville/Clemson Over and he cost me that day. Throwing into coverage and looking shaky. We'll see? I'll take Justin Fields 40-1 versus a tougher schedule. The guy is unflappable, but they haven't played a D like Clemson's either. Too tough for me to predict the winner. I just expect alot of running and Under

Clemson will take awhile to adjust to Ohio State’s speed

Clemson hasn’t played anyone all year so to go from a cupcake to “The” Ohio State

true but the replacements are mostly juniors and one soph and ALL were highly touted HS players.

they don't have to be as great as last year's, in order to still be a really good line.

their front 7 is strong. their back 4 are, too.
