    I don’t care what Jerry Bailey said. The announcers were gutless. Jerry Bailey has relationships with owners and trainers. He’s not going to go crazy. He’s going to stay neutral. The stewards probably had the damn telecast on while they were trying to decide what to do. Jerry Bailey holds a lot of weight in the industry. Taking that horse down was the absolute right call. From the far turn to the 1/8th pole, the horse ran like he drank 100 beers before the race.

    So now Gary West, who must be getting senile in his golden years, is going to protest the decision, and at the same time has decided that the horse will NOT run in the Preakness because he lost the Derby and West sees no point in running a horse in two weeks since he has no chance of winning the Triple Crown. So what happens if by some miracle, the decision is reversed? Does that mean that the horse runs in the Preakness? This is a perfect example of an old man who has no clue. Can anyone say that the horse did NOT commit a foul. Rules are rules, even for wanna-be Big Shots like West.
