I'm not going to let anyone piss on my party. I'm ok with it. I'll set in my recliner on Saturday and Sunday and reach for my phone to place my bets legally now and if I win I ain't going to have to jump through hoops and hassles of getting paid. The hassle and shitty customer service aspect of Offshore is worth the extra juice and you only have to pay that when you lose.

How would mobile work? Do you fund your account at the sportsbook, and then play it and withdraw as you please?

Don't let him piss in your cornflakes. He also conveniently leaves out the fact by the time you're done paying fees for Bitcoin to buy/sell, it's almost a wash anyway on the juice (and if you can do ACH transfers with mobile betting, the convenience would make the few cents in juice probably worth it anyway).

If someone can deposit/withdraw the same way you can on the Twinspires website when betting the Triple Crown, your Average Joe will happily bet -110 vs -105 and not have to worry about moving Bitcoin and the headache involved in that.

Relatively smooth process for Indiana. Hey Blackbox, hope you are doing well. My Corps MOS was in Finance.

Yes, I just get lots of comps from French Lick. Not a horrible drive or anything...just more of a 2-3 day trip usually for me

It's my understanding the answer is no. This topic was brought up in debate and I think they are trying to protect the physical casinos and racinos in the state.

The traffic from Michigan will be very heavy going to Michigan City and South Bend. The Blue Chip in Michigan City will be up and running before Four Winds South Bend (Boyd-owned vs local Indian-owned). Once Michigan gets it, their experience at South Bend will help getting their Michigan casinos running in no time.

Extra juice won’t matter.. Americans in general... Fast paced... Want it now not later... Don’t want to leave home... Uber eats, grocery deliveries, amazon prime.. snap picture of check deposit to bank... so on.. Place a bet on Yankees at 7.. Cash winning bet at 930, in bank by 9am next day.. Is wave of future.. No bitcoin, no stalls no bounced checks... Poor people sweat a nickel... Middle Class and Rich pay that nickel for convenience and peace of mind... Good luck at heritage when they have bad weekend and can’t pay you... And that weekend is coming bud sooner rather then later.. Worrying over a nickel.. What a hoot

Can someone explain how the mobile portion works? FIrst, do you have to be an Indiana resident? Second, would the casinos allow you to post up into an account like online accounts, but you can just swing by the casino and withdraw when you want? Not really sure how the mobile piece works.

    Thanks

Your IP will have to be in Indiana. You can’t be a Indiana resident and bet in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio on the mobile app. You don’t have to be a resident, just be in the state.

Good to know.......can get to Indiana in like 5 minutes.
WOuld the mobile app be run by the casino? Would you just post up whatever amount with them in person, and then withdraw whenever you wish?

this hasn't happened once in 16 years

people here discussing fees/juice/etc are failing to talk about bonuses... if an indiana sportsbook is gonna give out 50-100% freeplay bonuses like bookmaker/betonline/heritage then maybe they are worth playing at, otherwise it's just plain stupid for the average person that isn't banned from those books

Mike.....why do Vegas residents bet at the sportsbooks? They could get bonuses and better lines offshore, but they choose to play at the books? Why....cash is king!! When you win a bet, you have money in hand immediately.......don't have to deal with ************, Bitcoin, associated fees, verifications, transferring between accounts, etc etc etc.

because they are stupid and/or aren't making a lot of bets

if you make 1000 bets at $110 to win 100/each... gonna win about 500 of those, and end up behind $5000 on juice

do the same thing at bookmaker with bonuses and betpoints, and that same person would be ahead instead of behind

my dad used to call it "ghetto rich"... thinking $100 in your pocket is better than $1000 in a bank account... broke loser thinking there

Bonus with ridiculous standards to meet.. Any serious gambler wouldn’t touch a bonus.. that isn’t completely nsa.. They give you that bonus... you take that bonus... they get another shot at your winning and bankroll... Onlinebooks never have seen thi assault before... that is a ridiculous statement, most professional gamblers take all the easy advantages they can get

"no please, don't give me that $2000 freeplay because then i actually have to make bets that i was making anyway"

Betting 1,000 games would take like 2 or 3 years........if you have over 100K in play over a couple year period, the 5k looks like small potatoes in comparison to the ease of getting your money in your hand 1 minute after the game ends. Question MM, have you ever once in your life had a problem withdrawing or depositing at an offshore book? Have you ever paid a fee?

Advantage player I’m.. 500 dollar free bet from Wynn.. I win I take it.. I lose they take it.. I don’t have to risk the 500 dollar bet 12x more before I get my cash.. I might be wrong but isn’t there a rollover for your free play? Be honest you great advantage player... Have the online books made it harder or easier to claim and walk away with your bonus in the last 10 years... Your a shill bro for the books.. you make it too easy

Yes he has.. He came in on forum and bitched about it.. Great advantage player he is.. Depsoit fee, withdrawal fee, slow pay fee... All signs of great advantage player... But he gets -105 instead of -110 Also gets free play

sure i've paid tons of fees and yes i've been stiffed quite a few times, bitcoin has sure helped with the fees and payout times (if you use kraken or something other than regular coinbase)

overall i would say that offshore gambling is one of the best things i've seen in my lifetime... the good overwhelmingly outweighs the bad... so many people here seem to WANT offshore to fail, and like to complain about all the downsides without mentioning all the huge benefits that offshore sports betting has

There's no reason to not be taking bonus's if you are a + EV bettor, most books don't require rollovers that take more than a month anyways. The fees with bitcoin are annoying though - I remember when circle used to be free, now it costs 2-3% to cashout.

Offshore gambling will eventually go away but its not going away any time soon. Right now offshore books like heritage can offer lower vig because they have less overhead, in the long run competition will make legal books offer the same lines and bonuses that offshore down and they will be able to pay you faster without having to worry about getting screwed.

The talk about how risky it is to be offshore is largely bullshit, I've had 1 book that slow paid me but still paid most of my balance in the nearly 10 years I've been betting offshore. You have to do your homework but if if you do it their are plenty of reputable offshore books.
