Talk to me about RIOT. I had 600 shares at circa 3 and got stopped out (another story) and sold 300 shares just before it went to 6. The trailing stop play is a science unto itself.

I currently have circa 350, but it can fluctuate daily a bit more than my comfort level. How tied to Bitcoin is this stock??

I've built some spots in AGNC, NLY and your old buddy NRZ. I like the mortgage paper mills.

But not ready to buy the brick and mortar stuff just yet.
I bought CCI Crown Castle and American Tower AMT 10 months ago or so, thinking I was playing the 5G REIT play. So far not what I had expected??

CCI is a beautiful company with a text book rising chart. But at 7x's book value and modest earnings/rates of return I'd take a pass.

Actually no, I think gold comes down more until probably around mid Jan sometime. If you start to hear more stimulus news and less vaccine news that may be a good time to jump in, but look at the chart and it will tell you we are in a downward channel that hasn't shown any bottoming or leveling out. I bought some more just because I'm not selling and I cost average down with the hopes that it (GLD) holds the 170 area, but that's probably a less than 50 -50 proposition now.

Big boy move today for GLD!

    Fugging up $3.5.

Been watching this one for decades and you rarely see a up/down day over $2.

My thought was we'd see profit taking until the end of Dec and then re challenge the highs. But my feeling is not at all a strong one.

Yeah not sure why gold is jumping up 40 bucks today, but I doubt this is a sustainable move. It didn't cross over the lower channel that I have on my weekly chart. Actually bounced off of it and at this point the upper portion of that channel will be about $174. If we do get some continuation and it does break above $174, I would wait for a retest of that level before jumping in for the first time.

So the government has been ramping up the stimulus talks again with the "problem solving caucus" coming in with a solution to the stimulus stale mate that in my opinion will just die in time. The problem solvers are a mix of not so outta whack democrats and republicans who are considered not as evil as their other conservative members. This is doomed to fail just because Chupacabra is making the bet that the senate will turn democratic on Jan 5, and thus she will not have to negotiate with cocaine Mitch. Cocaine Mitch may see the writing on the wall but he will not be able to move the other republicans in the senate because unlike the house, he can't make them vote the way he wants them to. So expect nothing to happen except a bunch of we are talking new conferences just like they had in the last couple of weeks in October and the first week of November. Gold almost broke out then so be careful jumping on the gold wagon again.

I think this is what is fueling the latest rise in gold prices. So lets see what gold has been doing lately.

Looking at the 3 month daily chart with defined upper and lower down trending channel limits along with a few lines of resistance drawn in as dotted lines shows; the price has been bouncing around within the channel with a false break out labeled as 1. After getting rejected, the price tried but could not get enough mustard to get back above the upper down trending limit line and thus eventually moved down toward the lower portion of the channel at point 2 where the price put in a "doeggie" (yeah I have no idea how you spell it) candle which sometimes signifies a change in direction. In this case stimulus talks have started up again and is no doubt the cause of the rise for the last couple of days. So technically speaking on this chart, I would wait until the price gets above the upper limit of the down trending channel which is around $174 give or take or point 3. After the price eclipses that level by an amount of say a dollar to $175, and then retraces back to $174 and is able to hold that level, I would then be a buyer with the eye on gold breaking down lower as a losing trade below the $174 price, and expectation of gold prices to move up ward for a winning trade. Of course I'm not really a trader in gold so...

Take a look at the monthly chart below.

On a monthly scale, it looks like the price is coming back to test a former breakout area, as shown by the highlighted area ($166.50 about). If the monthly close can stay above this level and close above $166.50, that would just be a typical retest of a breakout area. If however if the candle closes below that level at the end of the month, that would signal trouble and the next area of support is maybe $163, and then $158.

    Airbnb

    219 million net income
    annual revenue 1.34 billion

IPO set value - 35 billion (could go higher)

    makes sense? of course not.
it starts at a P/E of 160 on IPO day.

don't say, oh, it will grow earnings, because it will go up every time its earnings do,
meaning it will take decades to ever, if possible, reach an investable ratio.

But people don't care if it's investable. They only care if it "goes up".

I know its crazy, and are people really going to just waltz into strange houses to hang out after this kung flu plandemic? Who cares, because it just doesn't matter. I have to laugh about the PE ratio but then again I thought that Tesla had to make money at some point, and now that they technically make a paltry some per share, it doesn't matter either, so load up everybody, fundamentals be damned.

Hard too say. Reminds me of Uber a little. Sooo many challenges but just keeps going up.

It's a $35 billion valuation. Probably in the 6x sales area? I won't be a buyer but I could see this one doubling.

Lost money 5 out of the past 7 quarters and the 2 they made money was by the skin of their teeth. A ton of debt too. Pay a nice dividend but it's in serious danger with all the losses. I'd tell Carl adios after looking at the fundamentals.

Not true. You gave that one to me? I don't remember.

I loved NIO when I bought it but mannnn they had a couple of nasty quarters. I bought at like $3.75 and the stock tanked hard.

I was worried it would go belly up. I think I sold at $2.5.

    Good fugging call.

I looked at this a while back and liked it but it has warts; brexit, weak pound and a thin ADR market.

I bot a slug today way too high...kind of embarrassed. I'm in at $96. But Betfair is such a monster.

NNOX had a live demonstration today and completed successfully. Their machine is above and beyond.. I'm in at $42... Not going to sell ... This is my retirement plays.

TSPN is clearly not a pump and dump and it could be a game changer in the fintech sector. Will compete with paypal next year. They are using blockchain technology to transfer the money with lower fee. I'm in it really deep..... This will put me into retirement very soon.

TRIB is moving slowly up. Waiting for the FDA and the EU to approve their 12 minutes Covid19 test. I'll sell this around $15 to $20.
