You just invented that amigo. Nio always had a solid book value. Their problem was they lost money and it wasn't clear they could avoid bankruptcy.

If you want to throw darts or use your gut and not understand your investments or worry about valuation, that's cool.

roy remember that 30,000 cash i threw in last November. it is over 75,000 now. just kicking myself in the ass that i never rolled over any other money into it. just didn't trust myself. just wished i wouldn't of paid that hospital bill with cash. 255,000 at same rate would be over half million. roy little know fact before obamacare if you were self employed and had a preexisting condition than all you could get was a catastrophic policy, it would be like paying full cost to live in the 5th ward.

It's been an incredible year. By May I was thinking it could take a couple of years to recover. Now on New Years eve's eve this is probably my 3rd or 4th best year in my life. Got to send Elon Musk a fvvking Thank You card.

LLNW been trading between 4.00-4.30. Had a huge crash after Q3 to the tune of 30%+ for missing earnings due to a new note. Revenues second highest in company history Q3. Trading well under 2x revenue.

Q4 historically strong. Biggest clients include Disney+, HBO Max and AMZN. With shutdowns, growth in Subscribers and Mandalorian for DIS, Sports mostly back and streaming games, HBO Max gaining in the scene etc. Should be a huge boost.

Lots of ppl sold last month or two to offset earnings for the year. Biggest investors are major institutions. This one is set for 50% bump in next two months IMO.

Possible Acquisition at current bargain prices could result in 150% upside. If noone bites, still anticipate 50% return to normalcy around $6/ share after Q4 earnings.

If it wasn't clear, I am very invested in this stock.

i've got ZM at a $361 cost base from earlier this year. they are bleeding out the last two mos. any thoughts on their future?
I'm down 6% now and trying to decide if they can grow outside of the peer to peer communications and are worth lowering my cost on. it's a small position i opened in the summer.

What an incredible stock market/trading year.

Thinking back to March I was seeing these massive losses even in conservative bond funds. I've been through a lot of markets good/bad but that was a real bad time.

Who would have ever thought those losses would be totally erased and the year would end up a very solid gain????

    Happy New Year boys!

If your into dividends, try SUN: less than 30 bucks a share, has a 11.4% yield equals 82.5 cents per quarter and is fairly stable...

Just beware of USO and the like. I guess the ETF's trade future's so they expire every month at a minimum. And there's the dreaded "Contango". I don't know how many times I've tried to understand it , but all I know is it seems to cost me money.

With the caveat that all in all I've done extremely well using the basic theory that on average the price per barrel must be circa $45 for them to make money, so I've done most of my trading shorting below that. Keep in mind many countries (Venezuela, Saudi's) substantially subsidize their citizens such that at one point gas was in the single digits in VZ.

In short, they've given a large amount of their product/profit out in freebies. They are trying to figure out how to monetize it. I'd tread careful here is this is the pure stay at home play. Seems Microsoft playing a similar angle with own Office? and get Teams bundled.

IMHO this one's looking for a tumble at some point unless they figure things out. Lot's of Players, Teams, Webex (long imbedded in corporate).

I'm treading careful but the thing I like about DOCU is they've already monitized it and own huge market share.

    Valuation

    Industry Average & Percentile Methodology

    RIOT Software Average Industry Percentile
    Market Cap $772.49M $61.29B 46th
    P/E (Trailing Twelve Months) -- 59.40 --
    P/E (5-Year Average) -- 59.53 --
    PEG Ratio (5-Year Projected) -- 3.78 --
    Enterprise Value $742.43M $720.57B 47th
    Price/Cash Flow (Most Recent Quarter) -430.12 147.65 5th
    Price/Cash Flow (TTM) -- 83.69 --
    Price/Sales (Most Recent Quarter) 78.44 16.24 98th
    Price/Sales (TTM) 69.95 16.47 98th
    Price/Book 15.12
    12/29/2020
    22.34 68th
    Book Value 1.24
    09/30/2020
    15.67 40th

Look at RIOT. Has roughly $50 million in sales, no earnings and if you could buy every share outstanding you'd spend $800 million.

Would you really buy a company with $50 million in sales that is losing money for $800 million???
    Much appreciated!!

The unabated rise in the last two months was pretty ridiculous. I can't help but feel this market is wildly manipulated. Just don't quite grasp what or who's behind it, but it seems like it was way overextended on the upside and perhaps now it overextends the other way. Who knows. I admit I'm no good at market timing. I'm better at sports market timing.
