let's put it this way.... if DonkLand was across the street like those witnesses in their home were, the shooter never would have made it inside the church, and probably would have gotten off 20-30 rounds (his first clip) before one very loud round went off, dropping the mother fukker in his tracks.....
I'd have probably head shot the prick just for style points, but he'd be dead as a doornail regardless.....
If I hadn't lobbied the city of cypress and received a "no school or church" can be built within 500 yards of my compound, I'd invite some holy rollers to build one nearby, so that I could protect them from such senseless violence.....
I've never been much of a "concealed carry" guy, but will become fully licensed to do so now....
just this past weekend, a group of non-rednecks showed up on the side of the road, acting as if they were "broke down" at the end of a road that is now closed to through traffic due to a bridge having been out for the better part of a year near my ranch in waller county....
they saw me pull into my ranch, and were just kind of standing around looking at their vehicles.... there were to vehicles, a truck and a suv.... as I knew they had absolutely no purpose for being there, but there was a relatively abandoned ranch house about 50 yards off the road, I decided to check it out, but not until I'd blasted my rifle a couple of times to ensure my scope was still spot on.....
the non-rednecks obviously heard the shots, and I immediately pulled back out of my ranch and stopped outside the gate, pulled out my wind river binocs, and took a peek... they were hurriedly moving around in a couple of the vehicles, so I reloaded the mag and pulled my over and under out of its case and loaded it with two rounds of duck shot, and eased down the road toward them, with both the shotgun and the deer rifled clearly displayed on my passenger's seat, side by side.....
pulled up to them and asked them if they needed any help.
the looks on their faces as they looked into my ride and saw the weapons was akin to this:
they nervously said "no" and that they were waiting on a tow truck to tow the truck, which had broken down. I asked them "where were you headed, you can see the "road closed" and "bridge is out" signs," to which they had no good answer..... warned them of a few breakins in the area, and let them know all the neighbors were fed up and ready to shoot to kill any tresspassers, to which they responded with an even more surprised look than this:
told them good luck with the tow truck, and that I'd be in that blind (visible from the road) right over there huntin' the rest of the afternoon if they needed any help..... and now that it was deer season, they could count on somebody being nearby huntin' to offer em assistance if they ever found themselves broke down at the end of this now defacto dead end street again.... told em have a nice day, and backed up to my gate, and went about my business....
they sat there for another two hours before a tow truck finally showed up.... my thinkin' was I cost them an unnecessary tow job, but I doubt they'll be fukkin' around near my ranch any time soon.......
