I think west va style of play would hurt gonzaga. Good thing huggins does full workout day before a game and wears out his team. Zags won't have to worry about that

Wisconsin went from a 2 seed to an 8 seed in 2 weeks and that is even making that Big10 finals...

They beat 6 teams that are in the tournament. Lots of young guys, but they are tough. mtsu is a tough draw for them, but don't doubt these kids too much.

The RPI is archaic. 8-10 in the Big 12 or 10-8 in the ACC? Stat nerds have no clue. They don't watch.

But a #5 seed seems very high. They had a five game losing streak at one point in the conference schedule. I get that they beat 5 tourney teams, but as a whole the Big 10 was weak this year, not sure how much those value those wins have.

No, but good to know that everyone knows we would easily make it yearly. Instead of in the best conference, by far. Which in the end, puts us on the bubble. If anyone thinks we wouldn't beat these teams that make it because of their weak conference then they're crazy. We beat BC, and 11-7 then we're in. That was right before we changed our line up. Just funny that the committee are stat nerds. Oh well.

    Then stop using it.

The bubble teams suck this year. Most years USC k state Syracuse wouldn't have been close.

As for teams being in, they could have put in Syracuse for Kansas St or USC I would have cared less. First time in a while I have no complaint with the teams that are in

I don't use it. The committee doesn't, supposedly. They are big wigs, who don't know a thing about basketball. We didn't win on the road, or OOC. That was it. Screw that we won 10 games in the best conference, and beat 8 top 100 teams. 6 top 50, and 3 top ten at the time. 8-10 in the Big 12 over 10-8 in the ACC is funny. Oh yeah, and Wake made it at 9-9 when we beat them.

USC beat like 2 top 50 teams, but won 7 on the road against bums.

The problem was how awful they were in the nonconference.

Also, assuming k st USC them were close, they looked the worst in the conference tourney.

8-10 versus 10-8 just bugs me. We had 4 new starters before we got it together. Beat multiple Tourney teams. KState beat Baylor, and WVU.

Our own fault. You can't leave it in the hands of a committee of fat fcks who never played ball. They don't even watch games.

If you didn't get in this year, it's your own fault. 1 mid major at large, a10 and American conference only 5 bids total, pac12 4 teams, plenty of spots up for grabs.

I am still trying to figure out how Gonzaga gets to face the weakest team from every seed line. It was almost like the committee was hoping if they made it the easiest possible way in the history of basketball maybe the Zags wouldn't embarrass them this year as a #1

ya, i see that we have Kentucky as a 2, and UCLA as a 3. My point is if you are the 4th number one seed you should have the toughest path.

Well they can only play 1 of them.

I look at by 8s personally.

Villanova and Kansas are the ones who should complain.

I wasn't complaining about UNC bracket. All I said, from what I see, Zags have a pretty easy road compared to the rest of the number one seeds. As the #1 overall seed Nova should be playing the bracket Zags are in.

Yes, I agree with that. Almost like the 1 seeds should be reversed to be honest.

Obvious they dont want a repeat champion.

I watched NKU in person at the Joe last week, they're happy to make it to the big dance for the first time ever & in their first year of eligibility. McDonald is a tough matchup as a 'big' who can shoot a 3. With all that said, Kentucky athleticism will run them out the gym. Kentucky -28 should be safe.
