Men, I don't know about all of you but this is the greatest time of the year for me. Its like the day before Christmas, as a kid, when you have to wait until the following day to open presents and the anticipation continues to build.

From the release of the bracket to the official opening round on Thursday, when you watch that perfect bracket you built (that couldn't possibly lose) gets busted up by buzzer beaters and upsets. There is nothing quite like the tournament, I have a fever..................and the only prescription is more bracketology.

What teams will be left out in the cold this season? What controversy awaits in seeds and placement? We are getting close to all the answers.

Zags will most likely get the last #1 seed, even though if Oregon was to win this Pac 12 tournament championship it would be hard to not put them on the 1 line over Zags, who haven't played anyone in over 3 months.

I think the pac-12 gets disrespected seed wise. Arizona 2, Oregon 3, UCLA 4. I kinda think the committee will make Duke a 1 which is shocking also.

Wake will be ok IMO. Syracuse, I think will be in, although they shouldn't.

If there's a possible shock left out it's Xavier, and a possible shock to be in that no one gives a chance it's Cal.

Obviously if Cal was to be a shock inclusion, than USC will be there.

URI, K State are right on the line. I think Rhode Island needs a close loss today at least for the "eye test"

I won't be surprised one bit if you see a 6-11 game between Wichita and middle Tennessee.

I never thought about South Carolina. They do have wins over Michigan and Syracuse out of the conference. Not much else beat Florida at home.

I would have agreed if Duke beat UNC straight up in the acc tourney. Pre ref hose job on Berry, UNC was absolutely tearing Duke apart and lets not forget Hicks, UNC best big, didn't play at Duke.

We have two road wins, and nothing OOC. The committee put us in last year because we won neutral OOC games against good teams. We should get in with 6 top 50 wins. Three against top 10 teams at the time. KState at 8-10 in Big 12 has no business in. USC 10-8 in the Pac 12 doesn't either. But, they won on the road against bums. 5Dimes took down Cuse in its odds to win it all. That worries me. The other bubble teams are there. We haven't shown we can win away from home, which the committee puts a big emphasis on. Even if your road wins are all terrible. I wanna get in, but we aren't winning 7 in a row anyway. Might be better to try to win the NIT, though they will have little motivation.

USC, KState, Cuse, Illinois State, Wake. Seems like 3 for those 5. Unless they leave out a surprise like Providence, or put in a surprise like Cal which would be insane. Even could leave out VCU.

The bubble is always weak, but this may be the weakest. 8-10 in their league KState. I can't get over that they are in to most. If USC, and KState get in over Cuse then I actually will be upset. Rather have Illinois State in. USC beat no one. KState beat Baylor. We at least beat different top teams. Duke, Virginia, FSU, Miami. Wake, Monmouth, then at Clemson.

Looking at the KState schedule baffles me.
