I think both Bush and Obama had massive setbacks to overcome during their terms that make it hard to compare their economic performance with the previous three, who all got to ride relatively good economic times.

"The Democratic and Republican Parties are virtual opposites of each other in their economic records, going back to the earliest period for which economic data were available, around 1910. More than a dozen studies have been done comparing economic growth, unemployment, average length of unemployment, stock market performance, inflation, federal debt, and other economic indicators, during Democratic and Republican presidencies and congresses, and they all show stunningly better performance when Democrats are in power, than when Republicans are. These studies are all available online, and they are all summarized and discussed in this path-breaking book, which settles, once and for all, the question of whether there’s any significant economic difference between the two Parties. Not only is there a difference, but – shockingly – it always runs in favor of Democrats in power. There might be other types of reasons for voting Republican, but all of the economic reasons favor voting for Democrats. Regarding economic performance, the two Parties aren’t even close. "

Bull Shit nobody forced the banks to give out loans. They knew they were giving loans to people that would never pay them back. That's why the bundled them up & sold them as AAA, a fake rating. Then backed them with fake insurance with AIG.

Do really think it all can be explained in a video 11 mins long? With music playing. This explains why you like Pumpkin Head.

and know how to use google and the search engine on craigslist, don't forget.

The fact is they were forced to give out loans to people who didn't deserve them so, of course, they found a way to not get left holding the bag because of some liberal agenda.

Also, most people on wall st did not know the loans were bad or the market collapse wouldn't have been as bad you putz. Trying using your brain to re-read what you type to make sure it makes sense.

You should go watch the big short. It is entertaining and will help you understand what happened in a way that will keep your attention like a youtube video.

Been saying that for years. Seems we are always in a war or a skirmish during Repub presidencies and afterwards,
    recession.

I'm afraid if Trump gets in we are fukked. Our economy is hanging on by a thread, europe isn't in good shape and
our debt and deficit is out of control. If we go into another recession, we don't have the resources to bail anyone out.

    Candidate Summary, 2016 Cycle

    BUSINESSMAN

DECLARED CANDIDACYTrump, born in 1946, is a billionaire real estate developer, businessman and television personality. After decades of persistent flirtation with the idea of seeking a White House bid, Trump announced on June 16, 2015, that he would officially seek the GOP nomination. Having never previously held office, Trump will likely tout his success in business as the focal point of his presidential platform. But he is no stranger to Washington. Trump has been a frequent donor to both Democratic and Republican federal political candidates, spending tens of thousands of dollars supporting them and causing some to question his sincerity as a GOP candidate. He also sparked controversy by questioning whether President Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen, asking for his birth certificate and passport history. Candidacy declared: June 16, 2015
