Big College Hoops game Tuesday: Kansas @ Florida
Florida opens as a 2.5 pt fave. Expected to get their two guards Wilbekin and Hill back.
Kansas got off to a nice start and was hyped with Andrew Wiggins but they've lost to Nova and Colorado and now could be looking at loss #3 of the season.
I like Florida in this matchup but no bet as of yet.
Kansas so far has showed they are slightly overrated as they are struggling regardless of their record

I'm a big KU supporter. This team will be better in March than they are now. People forget how young this squad is mostly.
Their interior play has been a puzzle so far. Ellis has been consistent, but Black has been a bust. Self does not seem to trust him so far as his minutes suggest. And then the big problem, consistent outside shooting. Self has not recruited a good 3 pt threat in several years and it's really baffling because you have to have that to win in today's environment. Think the line is spot on as this game is a toss-up.

I like Florida here. Kansas is good but they are still fairly young. Young teams on the road always a good fade early on in the year.
they are struggling against less talented teams than florida when away from home... they will do it again tuesday...no team is as overrated as kansas is proving to be so far this season.

Teams will continue to play zone vs Kansas until they prove they can make jumpers and threes. They've shot the ball below average all season and need to prove they can hit shots.
Shouldn't have come down to that. Wiggins missing FTs is the killer. I can't back Kansas until I see them more consistent in making shots.

If Kansas didn't have the earlier losses, I'd take Florida here without hesitating.
Bill Self is the best coach in college basketball. Kansas has the talent and ability to win any game they play this season, Florida being no different.
I also think CU is as good as if not better than Florida, and was by far a tougher place to play this season than Florida. Kansas was outclassed for the majority of that game, but it took a prayer heave at the buzzer to beat them.
This line suggest this game would be Kansas -1.5 to -2 ish on a neutral court(I give Florida a 4 point Home Court advantage here), which I feel is off.

Kansas can't SHOOT the have a complete lack of shooters from inside the perimiter and don't even get me started on from beyond the arc. Wiggins is also much to easily discourgaed and lack the mental fortitude to be any kind of leader at this Point, they are also WAY to unstable when defending trying to make unecessery fouls the next big olympic sport.
Odds are stacked against Kansas to win this game, for sure. Especially if these guards of Florida come back in stride. I just like getting better teams at +$, even on the road in a lot of instances.
I don't have any money on this game, so take what I say as simply face value, but I think Kansas has a chance to win this game down the stretch.
I think if you are gambling to make Money there are better alternatives on the board today then this matchup

He has a ton of growin up to do, he has all the potential in the world but he has a long way to go to get there. At the moment he' far to easily discouraged. when they face Oklahoma State he'll get taken to school by Smart & Brown.
