    Nelson Cruz is Back for Rangers and Will Probably Start Monday

    In tiebreaker vs. Tampa Bay. Not sure I would start him unless he has been taking batting practice somewhere during 50-game suspension.

    If you didn't know Nelson Cruz, Usain Bolt or Lance Armstrong were/is juicing you are an idiot. The guy had unbelievable power for his size and his body looked way too big for him. I remember on MLB2k games he had power of over 90 and contact in the 60s.

    I think that is incorrect on being able to play in the Minors. He played in Instructional Leagues which I do not believe fall under the actual Minors because Affiliate related Minor League play was done in early September. That's why you see rosters expanded and the September call-ups because they are all done for the season.

    The Minor League guys who get suspended could not very well get called up to the Majors and play, so I don't see where it would be different going the other way.

    And big duh that they will activate him and he will play tomorrow.

    My bad. Instructional league is what I was referring too.

    I believe he even played for the Rangers affiliate over in the DR some.

    Regardless, he'll be there tomorrow.

    I think it will be hilarious if they put him in and he leaves a bunch of dudes on-base. And the guy is 6 for 12 against David Price, no way he is on the bench. Rangers could not have lucked into a better situation in getting the Rays in this set-up vs. the Indians who beat them up this year I believe.

    The Giants kept Melky Cabrera off the post-season roster last year in this exact same situation and went on to win the World Series. Texas has been on fire without him. I am not as convinced as most here that this is a good move.
