All sarcasm aside, I think there should be a USA East and a USA West. You could add other teams as well. IMO, larger single table tournaments, rather then 4 player, would be more fun, more interesting, and more meaningful in terms of skill level being rewarded.

Canadian team seems weak compared to last year.

Then again most of us are able to play at real poker sites,so why
bother putting in a summer time of effort for one player to
recieve an ipad and others get points to use at books that don't pay
or slow pay.

Do I care about a poker contest I can enter for free since I reap way more from the Pro program than SBR dishes out in points? No. I truly don't. I'm sorry Branch but I don't care what the rules are. It's my choice to enter and try to participate. I just thank f that I have the ability to make that choice. Pull your head in and get some perspective. You don't like the rules? Fair enough. As Rudy stated they were already amended to fit consumer demand at the time. You expect them to keep being changed? You're living in Lala Land.

It is very nice that you are worried about all these other causes. I am just left wondering what they have to do with the topic at hand? We can care about all those things you mentioned and every other issue under the sun ----- and still run a poker contest that would be fair to all the players involved. It really is too bad that you seem to have run out of " care " after the three causes you listed. I was laboring under the ridiculous assumption that human beings had the ability to care about as many things as they wanted.
If you CHOOSE not to care that is up to you. But if I worked for SBR, I would care if so many of my customers were unhappy. And, I don't know what changes you say Rudy mentioned -- I am only aware of a lot of complaints for the last two years with no changes in the format. ( Excuse me, changing from 4 players per team to 12 players per team does not address the unfairness issue. )

Well, if children anywhere in the world are getting abused, we certainly would not have time to worry about righting any other wrongs -- even those wrongs that we admit are wrong. Obviously only one wrong can be righted at a time, so we must choose our battles very carefully.

Shari, I gotta give you credit for coming into this thread. You knew you would catch hell from the Americans. And you knew that you would get no help from your superiors, who have gone into hiding since BI. I don't expect you, or any poster from the other 3 regions, to dislike the tournament set-up. Why would anyone cry when they are handed an edge? But, as an SBR employee, I believe you have some sort of a duty ( that is in conflict of interest with your role as a poker player ) to ensure that all your customers are treated fairly. I just don't see how you feel you can get away with " I just don't care" , especially when you are one of the players that is getting a huge edge.

Even Canadians and Americans get into it. A lot of debates going on amongst those 3 countries but at the end of the day your continent is your continent. Canadians and Americans and Mexicans would back each other in the event that someone else tried to take them over. Canadians and Americans for one reason, Americans and Mexicans for another. These 3 countries would protect each other on this one continent they inhabit. I truly hope you guys would do the same.
