    Lakers can beat the Spurs in the playoffs. I'd be more worried about the Clips and OKC. Lakers have a lot more trouble with them...

    In the Blazers game, notice that out of bounds call that was overturned? MWP fouled Batum. It was a joke, he clearly hit him on the arm & the

    Most NBA series have huge chalk but if the Lakers are healthy you never know.
    Books respect the Lakers still, won't put up any good odds to win championship. Around +3000 is the best I could find.

    Yeah but you cant review fouls when you go to the monitor. It kinda sucks but they made the right call to overturn it. Now obviously had they beforehand called artests toul there would be no debate.

    Consider this : they are +1100 to win the west although they are like +130 to make it into the playoffs at all and would probably be about +250 at least in a series without homecourt to the spurs or thunder. Do the math.

    Lakers will probably make the play offs the way their last couple games have been reffed, especially last night it is obvious the edict has come down to help them anyway they can be helped. They should have lost that game last night by double digits, but outscoring your opponent by 30 from the line has a way of helping you out.

    Any other time I wouldnt care if they slipped in and missed out on a draft pick but since they dont get it anyway then it would be better to see them win the whole lottery process and have to give that pick tot he Suns.

    This is actually a terrible bet, with absolutely no value to it.

    You would actually be better off betting the Lakers make the playoffs. I'm not sure what the odds are, but let's say it's +100 (should be a lot higher), and you put your $100 on it. And then you bet them subsequently in each of the following three series, you would be way better off. This isn't debatable.

    Let's assume they were +200 every round....(and they would be a lot higher than that)....your $100 wager would be worth $5300.

    If they were +300 every round, you would be looking at $12,700.

    You bet into a horrible line, Goat. Just horrific. I'm surprised someone with your vast NBA knowledge would do this.

    The only future he has ever won, is Miami last year. And he acted like he's the only one in the world who picked them, the biggest favorite since the 90s Bulls.

    Of course he forgot to mention he guaranteed they would go 74-8 and win he finals the year they lost to Dallas. He lost about 3200 on that series, i think. Which is peanuts compared to his NFL losses, and lifetime NBA losses

    not over the thunder but the odds will be similar. yes lakers will be favored over the clippers 100% if they beat SA in the first round.
