Totally agree dofba. His look when he misses means he does not care. No one should sign this bum.

His smile is pathetic. He used to laugh on the bench when Orlando lost games, guys a negative influence plain and simple. So much talent and ability, but a 12 year old boy's attitude.

The Lakers would have been better suited getting a few quality role players.

I get so sick of seeing that goofy ass smile on Howard's face after he misses free throws. Guy is soft.
The smile is just a nervous reaction. He's like Donovan McNabb. Both guys are complete goofs. At the end of the day I don't care if you smile or whatever you do as long as you perform. Much like McNabb he comes up small time after time.

Yeah, he got a a coach fired that was taking Orlando to the playoffs and even the Finals. Where is Orlando now? They're one of the worst teams in the league. Guy is a huge baby.

People called me crazy when I said I didn't think he was a huge upgrade over Bynum. At least Bynum was a few years younger and there was still some hope for him to get his mind right. Bynum is a big time talent. Wait until he gets healthy in Philly.

Also, wtf were the Lakers doing when they didn't take Phil Jackson? Jackson is about the only coach that Kobe respects and he would have straightened this shit out.

It would make me extremely happy for the Lakeshow to sign DH MAX$/MAX years.
That would pretty much guarantee mediocrity for the term of contract.
I can`t believe so many knuckleheads bandy about "superstar" when referring to Howard.

Side note to Big D--- Until Westbrook understands the team would be better if his #s were more like
15 PPG, 15 APG, 7 RPG, 3 SPG and under 4 TO per game they are always going to underachieve.

Kobe & D'Antoni go waaaaaaaay back. D'Antoni was Kobe's favorite player and "boyhood idol" (while playing in the Italian leagues).

    http://www.athleteslivehere.com/blog...ns-continents/

That's why Kobe was ok with the hiring. But, you're right......the Lakers should have hired Jackson. No way Jim Buss was going to do that though.......guy is a pussy who can't stand that Phil gets the credit for Lakers successes.

Can't be serious, Dwight is a fukkin beast! He doesn't get paid to shoot 90% at the line

Every team in the league wants a shotblocking monster in the paint, teams will line up to sign DH after this Lakers mess

How exactly have the Thunder underachieved? Look at the last three years.

    - Lost to the world Champion lakers in first round.
    - Lost to the world champion Maveriks in conference finals.
    - Lost to world champion Heat in NBA finals.

The last three years the team that knocked OKC out of the playoffs won the NBA title.

Also, OKC has advanced further in the playoffs each of the last three years. If anything, it is evidence of a young team getting better.

OKC didn't underachieve at all. They just lost to better teams.

The Lakers are the team underachieving. I have no idea how you can say OKC is underachieving. What are you looking at?

Westbrook isn't your prototypical PG so it's crazy to ask him to put up numbers like that.

Would the bulls ask Rose to quit taking shots and distribute more?

He's getting paid. That's all that matters to him.

biggest problem with Harden is that he thinks he can shoot from outside, but he really can't. he's a one dimensional player who tries to bull his way to the rim. if he gets calls, great. if not, he's totally ineffective. of course he plays zero defense (top 3 worst SG defender in the league), but the common fan doesn't even pay attention to that.

You nailed it. He was a good compliment to KD and Westbrook but wasn't good enough to be the man like he thinks he is.

He scores a lot of points but the rest of his game is lacking.

He pretty much lowers his shoulders going to the rim and initiates contact to shoot free throws. It seems like he scores 15-20 points at the line every bigjt but he is good at it.

He is a good player offensively but I don't think he is a superstar like KD, Curry, or Lebron.

Curry has come a long way in terms of trying to become a better defender. Harden still can't stop a nosebleed. I'd say you two are spot on.

Pretty shocking effort by Howard tonight vs the Kings even by his standards. Had that trademark laugh midway through the 2nd quarter when he was getting destroyed by Cousins and getting T'd up -what was so funny is a mystery to everyone but him.

I don't think he's into basketball anymore. He said a month or so ago he didn't want to play on back2backs anymore because he wants to be able to walk when he's older.
