Anyone have any decent chase systems for baseball?

    Lay them on me.

I've never used one, but I don't really like the thought of having to break down baseball games for the next six months. I would prefer to spend my summer be on autopilot.

    Anyone got anything?

for the start of the season only....ANY team that starts out 0-3, keep fading them blindly after that until they win a game. This works out fantastically on years when teams like the cubs decide to start out 0-14...FADE AWAY

This system is very successful on any 3 game streaks. Team wins 3 bet them to win, team loses 3 bet them to lose.

I'm not sure you guys understand the idea of a chase system.

Fair enough, but I don't want to have to wait six weeks to make a unit.

Found this one last year after the season was over, dude said he was going to charge $ for it this year, which doesn't make sense cuz he tells you what the system is.

i've tried this shit before because like you, i didn't necessarily want to deal with breaking down like 12-15 games a day or whatever it is most days. and it always railroaded me right in the tailpipe. it was like getting mouthraped by a 265 lb black guy with a 32 inch waist. the only chance you have is you got to keep your units tiny, like .25% of your bank (which i never did but always said i should). the ones that say they show profit after a season will still have moments where you will make an insanely huge wager, huger than you ever thought possible, on like game 6 of a chase. if you start out too high, which many cases would be even 1% of your bank, you might not have enough to cover your chase. and that's when you might as well call rodrigo over and get the blindfold and handcuffs out.

what you want to happen is to get a bunch of wins under your belt and keep your starting amount the same. i wouldn't adjust until you double your roll, assuming you can even get that far.

    good luck man.

didn't this fade out towards the end of the year? i read about this some as it was going down, it's too weird of a concept for me to really take too seriously. you can chase lots of stuff and hit enough to be lucky for a time.

plus limits are low on those props. to chase you gotta be willing to throw down when the time comes.

This is a good point, you really can't get much money down on those first-inning wagers.

I hear what you're saying, Texhooper, about this possibly backfiring and blowing up in my face. I just wanted to hear there were any reasonable ideas out there. The thought of risking 30 units or so, to win a measly unit, scares the hell out of me.

i will tell you what sucks is when you lose the 30 unit bet to win 1. then you basically are done because your roll has been so diminished that you have to either decrease your unit size and you got a long road to go to get out of the hole, or you keep your unit size the same and just count the days until you have no bankroll anymore. that's why if you're going to do it, the units should be painfully small.

there are some modified JM systems in the basketball, baseball, and I think hockey threads. you don't keep doubling up because that is guaranteed suicide.

check those forums and I think you should find what you're looking for

James Jones' double play 2 game chase system, isn't too bad. No capping and is a two
    game chase.

No betting the 1st game of a series. Look at the home fave scores and odds from the
1st games. If the home fave was beat by 2 or more runs and is again the fave for the
2nd game, chase them until the series is over.

Todays plays are: St Louis, Philly, Toronto, Kansas City and Seattle.

I'll say this once, and then NOT get involved in the scrum that follows if any. But there ARE no good chase systems. No such thing. Either you have good picks, or you do not. In the long run, a chase does does nothing to increase your profits, it merely provides a short term illusion of invincibility. And then when you crash, you crash hard. Here's more information if you're interested.

The Dog System - Not sure if it has a proper name or if someone has already thought of this and published it, but..... Pick a series where a team will be the dog through all 3 (or 4) games. Chase that team each game until they win one in the series. Since you're betting the dog, you'll make your unit plus whatever line was. Of course the bet ends when the dog wins in that series. This usually works good during the beginning of the season (dogs hit a lot in the beginning), but not so much towards the end. If you think about it, there really isn't too many sweeps, so the key is picking the dog.

Had BAL yesterday and I didn't even need to go pass game 1. I don't use the system too often, but if you're lazy and just want to make quick cash, it works (most of the time).

pick a bad team like the padres or pirates and fade them until you win a bet. should not take too long. what's the problem? if you don't win after game four then give up.
