If your white I do not advise playing with a black bookmaker as they are tougher on us

I was there from 94-99. Good times. We used to go to Nogales to discuss business away from people and there was a TDs there as well. Different owners and a different experience.

Is the gaming license hard to get and what does it allow you to do? You told them you ran a big book and their ethics didn't care?

My thing is what if I start running a book and some hamburger doesn't pay WTF am I going to do, break his legs for $500 bucks?

To get a key license, not the standard gaming card, the control board does a pretty thorough background check. No convictions on anything helped me a lot. They gave me the most headaches over people I associated with and certain members of my family. I disclosed what I needed to each of my employers and their legal, compliance and hr departments all were ok with me.

If you plan on booking and can't collect a measly $500 you may as well get out of business on the spot. Also, beating people isn't necessarily going to get you paid nor is it good for your business if you want to stay off the radar.

Yeah. The guy who put me into his business and then handed it to me when he decided to go legit is the same one who got me my first job in Vegas when I graduated from school. Same guy who looked into that info for you awhile back. He taught me how to make the money, keep the money and get out at the right time. Owe him a lot.
