Michagan vs Houston in Sugar Bowl....

So the projections are in on ESPN and other websites and have Michigan vs Houston in the Sugar Bowl.

Wow a very interesting match up betting wise. What do you guys think the spread and totals will be?

    My Guess

    Michigan -7.5
    Total 73.5

thoughts and which way would you go?

I think If the total is under 75 I would take the over. If the betting line is 7 or under I take Michigan.

I see Denard Robinson having a big game especially on turf. The Houston offense will score vs the mediocre secondary of Michigan.

Right.. Houston Plays a Cupcake Schedule.. Barely beating UCLA .. the only real Major school they played... They looked good against Tulsa... But then Again Tulsa isn't Michigan ...

I will take a battle tested team from the Big Ten with some solid wins under it's belt vs a bunch of cupcake eaters any day bro..

Over all day. Cougars haven't faced anyone like Robinson. Wolverines haven't faced a pass happy offense all year. I'd take the over if it was 82.

why waste the time on the over, houston would beat michigan easily. Unlike braxton miller, keenum doesnt miss wide open WRs streaking to a TD.

I will be pounding the under if it is 80 like you guys say. Michigan will be the best defense Houston has faced all year even though they suck.

Houston hasn't seen a defense like Michigan's yet. Bettors beware. Houston has a very potent offense but so does Michigan.

Michigan's defense has improved tremendously from last year. its not as weak as many people perceive. houstons passing offense will definitively be challenge, and it is so hard to cap because they have never faced a test all season.

michigan has a defense? sure didnt seem like it on saturday when they were facing the third worse passing offense in the country. Miller, who is not a good QB, had 245 yds and could have easily had another 200 if he could throw an accurate football. So unless keenum regresses and starts missing open WRs I dont see it.

and lets not forget fickle, god bless him but he is not a good head coach. Problems aside, the playing calling this year has been comical but on saturday he finally got it right but his QB couldn't keep up.

Secondary had a horrible game. Without those few big plays Ohio wasn't even in the game. How did they do with the rushing game? Perhaps they geared up to stop the rushing game? It was a Rivalry game, much different. Herron ran for 37 total yards. Miller is much different than Keenum. Totally different style of play. Sure Miller posted up 100yds himself, Miller is a great scrambler. We'll just have to wait and see when the line comes out what the actual play is.

You are of course forgetting that Houston's offense line will be facing Big 10 pass rushers as opposed to Conference USA pass rushers.

no im not, ive just bet long enough to ignore the assumptions and go with the evidence. Houston is not a running team and big ten does not have many prolific offenses so as you can see, that argument is flawed because it works both ways.

Case Keenum would take advantage of the Wolverines defense. Houston would win outright. Hopefully he'll get his chance

I would pound the fuk out of under 73.5. Keenum has amazing games against cupcakes, Michigan would contain him.

I hate teams like Boise and Houston so much. They play a bunch of shit teams and then bitch about not getting respect.

You can play four or five non-conference games, if you really want respect then only play top-25 teams since your conference schedule is a joke.

    Who did Houston play?
UCLA, North Texas, Louisiana Tech and a D1AA team.

    Who did Boise play?
Georgia, Toledo, Tulsa, Nevada, Fresno State.

    Fuk them.
