    I don't know. If everything on a site is in PST and you've been playing with them as long as Goat said he was, it shouldn't be a big leap to assume that their promos are in PST also. I just think there are better ways to handle things than going off on a CS rep who doesn't make the rules. If you're upset, talk to someone higher up and see what they can do for you.

    Perhaps to you it is clear, but to me it is not clear if the deposit was eligible. If it is, she could have said it in a much simpler and better way. Bottom line, that was not the right way to respond to a loyal customer. If I were Goat, I would not threaten to cancel and I would ask clearly if the deposit was eligible or not. But not every gambler can react calmly, especially if he just lost by a bad beat, like mishandled keel down snap.

    The ONE TIME exception referred to the rule she mentions that freeplays are only normally given to a minimum deposit of $300. He deposited $200. She offered him this after he threatened to cancel his deposit.

    For BTP I made my opening deposit and called about the Tuesday bonus and they told me it was no longer available. I said then why is it clearly stated on your website on EVERY page you view. They told me they would make a one time exception for me. THANKS A LOT DSI!!! It was there every Tuesday after that. I don't think I ever redeposited with them until the 300/300 promo this year.
    I wonder what they mean with a certain affiliate the promo is available. I had my Bookmaker account before I found SBR. So there wouldn't be an affiliate with that account but I got the offer on both accounts.
    Yeah CS is not great offshore.

    Shari, you need to read the chat from beginning. She said: "remember that you need to make the deposit tomorrow. today is MOnday". Perhaps she changed her mind later on that she will credit it tomorrow, but how could anybody misunderstand what she meant at beginning?

    He made it very clear he wasn't happy and had now threatened to contact his deposit method to cancel. She couldn't give him the 20% bonus that he wanted at that moment. What she COULD GIVE was the freeplay although his account didn't qualify for it because he didn't deposit the minimum $300 required.

    In reality we're trying to decipher the words of someone who doesn't speak English as a first language. We can guess all we want but because he didn't bother to ask her for clarification or to speak to someone else, we're just going to run around in circles on this one. We're just going to have to agree to disagree.

    I have read it. Too many times now considering it's mainly the 3 of us trying to figure out what's going on and Goat's probably already forgotten about it if I know him.

    I don't expect perfect grammar when I'm talking to someone who doesn't speak English as a first language. I do my best to understand what they're trying to say and if I don't, I ask for clarification as many times as I need it. The thing is... Goat didn't even ask. He immediately went on the offensive so who knows what she was really getting at. He didn't ask her about holding the deposit for 2hrs, was she saying he had to make a new deposit in 2hrs, etc... so we're just piecing together her responses to him lashing out at her. Either way, he should talk to a supervisor or fill out a Complaint Form if he wants SBR's help. They'll be able to determine what the deal was better than we can from trying to decipher that chat.

    Question for Shari.Have you ever deposited at DSI?If you haven't you have no idea what kind of crap goes on.If you read my chat with them you'll notice I clearly asked Lucky to make a note in my account regarding what bonus was negotiated.That is why I saved chat since I've been down this road with them before and you need positive proof to get what you negotiated.They pay like clockwork but the pushups getting going border on rediculous at times.

    Rules to Live By when making Deposits offshore

    This entire thread reinforces what I have previously learned.

    Every time I intend to make a deposit offshore, I contact either an account manager or CS rep prior to making the deposit to clarify all bonus terms. In fact if I'm using a prepaid **** card I do deposit while I have them on the phone.
    **Rule#1 Never make a deposit based solely on what you may have read on the web site.
    **Rule#2 Prior to actually making the deposit, contact preferably an account manager, who may be aware of bonus options and terms that may not be fully listed on web site.
    More often than not when I deal directly with an account manager I end up with a better offer than what may be listed on web site. (bigger bonus, lower rollover, any day, etc.)

    OP is at fault here: You have 24 hours to claim a bonus after deposit, wait the 2 hours & claim your bonus. The $300 rule is to have deposit fees refunded. not to qualify for the bonus. According to the rule below, only $100 deposit is necessary:

    I think the funniest part about this latest temper tantrum by Goaty is the fact that it flies in the face of all the self-aggrandizement he's been doing since he started posting here. When we first met, he spent untold hours trying to convince me that he's one of the world's greatest basketball handicappers, never having a season when he didn't pick at least 60% winners on NBA spreads and totals.



    A sports bettor with those kinds of skills would not only be extremely savvy about sportsbook rules and promos, but he'd be happy to have DSI as an out. Neither would he be eligible for deposit bonuses anymore because he'd be making money hand over fist at -110 lines and probably wouldn't be moving money with books via a CC.

    I could go on but I think it's pretty obvious that Goat is a big joke and that DSI is just the latest group to start laughing at him and his bullshit and empty threats.

    I had no problems with my deposit yesterday. I got my $300 freeplay and it was credited by an agent without me even going back to confirm after the deposit (I did it anyway, just to be sure).

    Generally this has to be good advice but...
    I've done that with DSI - contacted CS (not account manager) before depositing to ask if my account was eligible and to check t&c of the reload. They confirmed everything was OK then once i had tried to deposit and contacted them again, all of a sudden, my account was ineligible (I had to contact them after trying to deposit because the deposit failed for some reason). I won't go near them for a very long time.

    Shari, getting a ********** is not a threat. It's my money. I can do whatever I want with it. It's like if I purchase an item off ebay and never receive it, and I say, if I don't receive the product I'm going to call paypal and cancel the payment. Same instance here, product was never received. You think the cc company would ever in a million years take their side over mine? BTW, she didn't mean wait two hours and get the bonus, she meant redeposit (again) in two hours and then get the bonus. I already talked to the highest level supervisor.

    I run a business, and worked in cash businesses since I was a kid. I know about customer service. I deal with people in the real world, not behind computer screens. You think if anyone ever walked into my store that had been coming there for a few years, and said "hey I'm short $2, can I get you next time." You think I would ever in a million years say no to a loyal customer like that who's always paid every time? I know how to handle business.

    Trust me my man, if I called my cc company and told them to cancel the payment, they would do so instantly. Because that's how it is when you've been paying off the same cc on time for years. They take the customers side in any case like this. I simply tell them I didn't receive what I was promised. I've done it before with a book that didn't take tennis parlays and I didn't realize until after I deposited. I called and got the money credited back right away.

    They failed to extend you a courtesy.

    I dont think its fair to call them unprofessional though. Businesses have the right to enforce their policies as they see fit.
