You stole but unfortunately they can't get it back from you. If they did hit your credit you could probably dispute it and win.

Calvin Ayre is a better business man, than you.
He came out of the Russian Maffia, and has plenty of money.
Might want to think out your business plan a little better, and more important, make sure your life insurance and Will are in good order too............would hate to see your 4500 go to probate court.

you can not collect from an 'illegal gambling debt' in a US court of law.

they are more likely to break your kneecaps.

And people wonder why the worlds finances are a mess. People in general have become absolute scumbags.

Just because no one can FORCE you to give the money back, does not mean keeping the money is the right thing to do. Have some morals and don't be a thief. Give the money back.

It's a big warning flag that a book didn't even notice they sent out an extra 9k until SIX MONTHS after the fact.

breaking kneecaps and all these non sense ppl are posting.... it will not happen. If you want to be a good and honest man, just give it back to bodog. If you need extra cash and don't care, just keep it. Nothing will happen to you. Collection will call you to harrass you but that's it. No negative on your credit report and nobody will come knock on your door.

Let me get this straight, you mix your business banking accounting with your personal gambling wire transfers?? No one in their right mind would do this. I don't even mix it with my personal banking, I opened a new account to keep everything separate.

What I think happened here is you knew about the $9k and deemed it yours after 3-4 months. Finders keepers. Now six months later bodog comes looking for their misplaced cash and you don't want to give it back. They can't touch your credit report and if they do try just send the collection agency a letter stating this is not your debt. The only negative aspect , and it may not be one, is you can't play at bodog.

Something about this story doesn't add up.

reverse things and have bodog bet with you until they lose it all back to you. if they win betting with you just send in their winnings and if they lose subtract it from the 9k. offer them bets at no juice and you both will be content.

Bodog has a group of ninjas that work for them, these guys have no shame, they will start with your penis head and start torturing from there until the reach your eyebrows, its not a funny sight. I would send them back all of it, now.

This is such a stupid post. If you wouldn't notice 9K in your bank account, then give them the 9k back. Then you won't have to worry about having to look over your shoulder at night. if you really have a legitimate business as you say I doubt it would be hard for them to track you down.

My guess is you blew the 9k gambling, and don't have it to re pay. You should be fine, just lay low - they may not be able to track you down since the your residence is in your moms name.

And no they can't do anything to your credit.

    the OP has 6 post.

It's hard enough squeezing a $500 check out of them in a timely manner much less a $4500 wire that they mistakenly sent 3 times. this never happened people.

About 10 years ago, Bowman's overpaid my little brother about that amount of money. They ended up hiring one of the biggest law firms in Toronto to put a judgment against him in court. He ended up having to pay that back in order to get a license he was trying to get.

this do happen time to time but very rarely... When I used to play with sportsbook.com long long time ago, they sent me 2 different amount and it took them almost 4 months to wire me the money. they never asked me to pay them back or anything.

Great thread, even better replies.... I like pretty much all of them, plus some others:

    1) requesting Bodog's utility bill and passport(s) of employee(s) to verify their identity. Remember, the first fax/scan is never clear enough to read and the second fax/scan is too small. The third fax/scan "will suffice".

    2) Charging a transaction and processing fee and slow-paying $500 / wire every 2 weeks. Remember to miss a few payments here and there for good measure and then stop everything for a month or two while the missed payments are "verified". After about 20% paid, be sure to tell them you can't process these transactions anymore and they will have to resort to cheque withdraws. Remember that Cheque withdraws carry a higher fee and sometimes get lost in the mail.

    3) Tell them their IP has been linked to a known scammer and they will need to explain their relationship to a 'Candy Sanchez' before you can send anything. Make sure your replies to such correspondence are gathered from an ESL student as your local school or college.

    4) Tell them its not 9000, its 18000 since you auto-credited the 100% signup bonus. Then offer them -120 lines and tell them its a 30x rollover before they can withdraw.

    5) Might be good to send the T&C that says if they threaten your credit rating that you reserve the right to confiscate all funds.

    6) Could maybe also just tell them you want 9K on some game and if it wins you can just hold onto this $ and call it even. If it loses, 18k on the next game, etc. Soon as you win one, you are even.

    7) Seriously though you should for sure pay it back as its the right thing to do and its not your money., but doing some of the above comments first and posting the replies you get would definitely earn you a shiny SBR point or two from everyone here
