Only thing good about Bachman IMO is she'll keep Palin from running.

It isn't the greed of the rich that breeds this resentment; this resentment is the result of power hungry rabble-rousers stoking the flames of envy that reside in the hearts of all men.

When the common man asks "why can't I have that?" he used to be told, "you reap what you sow." Not anymore.

Now he is told he deserves it. He's entitled to it. He's told that no man should ever live a life of difficulty beyond what a liberal is comfortable witnessing.

Andy isn't the reason the left wing exists. The left wing exists because their parents were never able to explain to them as children why some kids had nicer shoes and lived in bigger houses.

The left wing exists because it's all to easy to prey on the weakness and jealousy of the masses.

The left wing exists because they believe surrendering the power of the people to a state authority is easier than building that power through daily love and support.

The left wing exists because deep down they are jealous materialistic status whores who want what all that the rich have, but since they can't have it, they will stop at nothing to take it from them. This is why they are always willing to bitch about raising taxes on the rich, but never once say anything about lowering taxes on middle class people or small businesses.

In short, the left wing exists because some people are emotional pussies that can't handle the fact that life ain't fair. And they are dumb enough to believe they can make it so.

Starting off your rant with a suggestion to eradicate a group of people because of their political beliefs tells a lot about you.
Paul looked like an old fool out there, and so do his supporters. This moron just wants to pull out of the world. It was stupid thinking like his that led to 9/11
How did non-interventionism lead to 9/11? Al-Qaeda said themselves that they committed the attacks on 9/11 because of US aggression abroad, not the lack thereof.
which has led to numerous wars
I'd like you to go ahead and list the wars caused by non-interventionism. Your statements need some evidence or sources.
Paul is a disgrase to American politics. There may not have been a clear winner tonite, but there was a clear loser, and that was Ron Paul.
Another statement without any backing. Just an fyi, "disgrase" should be "disgrace" and "tonite" should be "tonight".
Predictable praise of establishment GOP neo-cons.
    Cool story bro.
Paul did the worst, by far. He looked like the most important decision he could make would be who he selected as his running mate.
Yeah, right. His response to which person on stage would serve in his administration elicited laughter from each of the GOP Presidential hopefuls and the entire crowd. Get over yourself.
That person would be President 30 days after Paul took office. Talk about the walking dead.
The same thing Democrats said about John McCain. I'm sure you're a big McCain supporter though.
He made a terrible appearance omn T.V, looked short and frail
Oh no! Ron Paul is older and shorter than everyone else!
and did nothing but repeat himself, saying that we have to stop spending money. That was his stock answer to every question.
We must have been watching different debates. Maybe if you quoted him you could make a reasonable case. But if you quoted Paul, your statement would be disproved, so you won't bother.

Like JohnGalt said, maybe invest in spell check. You're the typical uneducated neoconservative who will do anything in his power to retain the status quo by slandering people like Ron Paul.

That's your opinion , mad one. Re read Gonzo's post again with an open mind and reflect
on your history knowledge, but go way back when there were slaves and work your way
    up to before unions.

A whole bunch of us could care less about what the rich have. We are happy just the
way we are. We just ask for a good wage to support our families and put some away
for retirement. While some opportunities arise, some of us will take the brass ring and
    run with it.

The rich are shitting on us every day and you defend them, unreal. How are they shitting
on us, you might ask? Jobs moved overseas and our govt coddles them. Huge profits for
oil companies, they are getting their oil for the same price, while (rich) speculators drive
up the price at the pump. Those same speculators driving up WORLD food prices. Your

The free ride for the rich needs to end. It's not about envy it's about survival. This country wasn't built by engorging the wealthy and sucking the people dry. America became a super power because of our new deal policies which led to a strong middle class. The playing field was level and the best and the brightest could rise to the top based on hard work and intelligence. That is not longer the case, we no longer have a meritocracy. Now we have a ruling class of inept aristocrats in charge of our government and businesses. There is no better example of this than President Bush 2. He didn't earn anything. He was a massive failure, and if not for his wealthy family, he never would have been president. The cream is not rising to the top, we are suppressing the brightest minds so that the wealthy can maintain complete control of our lives.

I for one refuse to believe that America's best days are behind us and America no longer has a future to invest in. That is what this debate is all about. Two conflicting visions for America. Conservatives who have a small vision for America and the rest of us who have big plans for America.

    Not sure how you think it's a free ride when the stats by the IRS are so clear;

less than 275k people filed as having earned more than $1 million in a nation of 300 million people

This group accounts for less than 5% of the country yet pays 40% of the taxes!!....while 50% of people (150,000,000) do not pay ANY taxes. So with that said....who is getting the free ride??

It would surprise me if you did care what the rich have. You aren't left wing.

I'm not defending the rich. I think most rich people are assholes. But I also think most poor people today are poor not because of the sins of the rich, but the sins of their fathers. They lack the mental toughness necessary to overcome their situation and improve it. If life in this country was damned bad we wouldn't have the largest/most diverse immigrant population in the world.

Jobs move overseas because we act like ungrateful entitled assholes. Jobs move overseas because we demand that companies behave in the manner we see fit, no matter how it might affect the company, and they are tired of dealing with our bullshit. And I don't blame them.

You say "we just ask for a good wage to raise our families" as if this is a birth right. It's not brother. It's up to you go to out there and make yourself a valuable commodity worth paying.

Oil companies make record profits because there is an ever growing demand and a limited supply. They make record profits because government regulations make it so difficult for them that it becomes more sensible for these companies to merge together than stay in competition with one another. Fewer corporations means higher prices. Besides, OPEC and the oil sheiks have a lot more to do with gas being higher than what the oil companies charge. The government makes more net profit off a gallon of gas in tax revenues than the oil companies do after they pay their overhead. It's a fact. Look it up.

The fact is this country has more millionaires than any other country. The top names on the Forbes 400 list are almost all self-made men, or the descendants of self-made men 1-2 generations removed. There is opportunity here to make a fortune. And it doesn't require fukking anybody over. At the same time, it isn't their responsibility to provide you with a job. That's your responsibility. The American people act like they should never have to improve their skill set and what they bring to the table once they get hired into the work force. That's not how it fukking works.

You blame the rich for the lack of jobs. It ain't their fault. There would be more jobs if there were more businesses. And there would be more businesses if dumbass commie crybabies understood the type of environment it takes to create jobs. It takes freedom. It takes getting the fuk out of the way. But they don't get that, because they are pussies who think we live in a world where no one should ever get fired or laid off, and that there should be enough work to go around for everybody to live a comfortable middle class lifestyle. Well there ain't. Never have been, never will be. Some folks are always going to be on the low rung of the ladder. If we had the balls to accept this then maybe we'd have the balls to stop artificially fukking with the market place. And then maybe our resources would start getting distributed in a more efficient manner than letting UAW workers get paid more than doctors or lawyers or farmers get paid not to grow anything. Maybe then the pockets of middle class America wouldn't be picked empty by taxes, and maybe then they'd have the economic stability to start up their own businesses and offer the competition the market place needs to lower prices and increase jobs.

Aside from Ron Paul and Gary Johnson... Adam Carolla would be 10 times better for this country than anyone running. This entire video is great but the last 5 minutes are the best!

Excellent post Madcap. The problem with the Liberal fools in here is that they have absolutely no understanding of how our economic system works. Liberals are nothing more than neo-socialists. They want the rich to provide for the poor. They want the Government to control free enterprise. They want a free ride for many Americans at the cost of a few. That is NOT how our economic system works.
