SBRodds beta now has rots and one-click line history & yesterday odds....
For anyone interested in following and testing the beta....we've been workin on your suggestions and publishing another update early next week with more intuitive drop-down and darker grid lines. Thanks guys

Negative remarks are good. People usually find the thing they dislike the most and we can go after those. We do need the help testing. Thanks for the ROT #'s. Notice that a few days ago. Also need to may it sort by ROT's. I still use the BETA to see the improvements.
Can you fix the select feature? You can select the games, but there is no way to just show the "selected" games.

Thanks for the update.
The old odds site and the new odds site give different line histories... Not good... Clearly if you are a line watcher you see the differences...
I use Chrome, if that matters.
I still can't see how the new version is any improvement but I may be hung up on the things that are worse.
For instance:
Cannot sort by time or rotation #
one click is now somewhat better but still less functional than the old site (only data from specific (e.g. totals) given)
no directions from home to center field
no hover over for TV (well, I thought I saw one but it vanished. i attribute it to a flashback).
Why are you changing it? Or what is better? Seriously, I see no improvements at all.

They should all be on EST now.
Under the settings (top right of SBRodds menu) you can now sort by ROT or times. One on-page click will be there soon.
Right, very few people used this feature and the idea was to allow people to flag the games on big card days while still watching the full slate. I think isolating games will have wait for the spreadsheet feature sorry to say.
Hi benjy, If you care about getting the lines faster, you're using the beta. Scores are also faster. Scores now come with play by play so you can see your positions without going to yahoo and checking status of all in progress bet games. One click turns that off. It will load faster and with new controls, ultimately mean less downtime for book feeds who alter them without warning.
The old SBRodds needed to be rebuilt because the things it does, or did, wasn't scalable for the amount of traffic we are now seeing. A simple thing like isolating games on another page can mean X times more connections to service. That's fine when it's 50 people. When it's 500, things break or slow and need to be built for larger scale use.
It's under settings.
A suggestion is to use the tab feature so you can watch sides and totals. We have prioritized other features over having all the lines pop up at once when you click on totals.
If you hover over the header, you'll see the TV channels for all games instead of that one game.
When controls and functionality change after 5 years, it's never fun. You have to relearn it. I get pissed when I'm pressed for time and my bank put the menu on the top instead of the side. For anyone who isn't already looking for it to work one way, it will be easier and work like more sites do today.

SBRodds checks the file the book offers us in intervals, as fast as the individual book allows. In some cases it's every 10 seconds. If the book updates the file every 30 seconds, it's possible for both the new and old SBRodds to be 30 seconds different. Line history should be accurate in terms of being the right line at the time and when the website received the data.
I'll have to wait until 7 to see, but did you guys fix the issue that if you had sbrodds (beta) open prior to the game starting it would never show you any baserunners? Only way to get them was if you refreshed the page once the game started. I'm using Firefox if that matters.
Also, as Benji mentioned, it was nice how the old version included the direction from home plate to center so you knew if the wind was blowing in or out.

Anyway to put consensus numbers up front next to the games on the main page like the odd one does. It helps to target which games I'm interested in.

We observed the same thing with 2nd hlvs NBA. You had to refresh to start viewing the line. That was covered in today's update and is being tested now. Please tell us if you see the issue again.
We'll have to address that tomorrow.
When we refine that data to all bets on each side, we will. Shouldn't be long.
The base runner problem seems to be fixed now. Glad to see that you guys will be adding the plate to center directions also. You guys are doing a good job listening to everyone and making key adjustments. Isn't it nice to have all of us guinea pigs?

It may just be an adjustment to the new interface (ala your bank example) but I'm not sold on the pop-out for line history. It blocks what you can see. Could you make it a drop-down like the information?
As for the information: it takes up a ton of screen space. Any way to shrink it down? Perhaps by condensing the information displayed? Or maybe a scroll bar?

The line history is just a blank screen for me. Maybe it's my pc? The old site has no ML history for Phily or SD games but the new site does but... I cant see the total line history at the beta site. Weird^&%#

Good: I can at least now click off of money line and go to totals and such on the new site, good job.
Bad: As Carl above me noted, when I click on line history it is just a blank screen, and this isn't just a one day event, I have had this problem since it was created.
It also seems the old odds page was abandoned with not even posting pitchers anymore from time time or having them listed wrong. I understand you want posters to use the new one because a lot of work went into it, but hope you correct this errors on the new one. Thanks.

I posted on another thread my request to not neglect the old page till the new one has all tha bugs worked out. Line history on some games missing at old site but show up on beta if you do the "i" button.

At one point you said BetPhoenix would be back. I still don't see it.
One suggestions would be for the consensus percentages to be displayed on the front page next to the teams. Like it is in the old version. Instead of having to open a tab/drop down thing for each separate game. Thats kinda annoying.
I'll check on that. We have about 8 books to add to the new site. Thanks
