More non-substantive drivel from the CHI homer/GB hater
The line DID move. If you had a clue, you would know action has evened out after -3 got slammed early, moving it to -3.5. Again, I guess you fail to realize 3.5 is a MASSIVE number in itself and is anything but "quiet". Please tell me where the line should be. -6? There are still many betting the Bears.
I drew a parallel with BALT/KC and GB/CHI to demonstrate how big -3.5 is for GB. If a team like KC with zero experience and from the worst division, got +3 -110 at home, while Bears are getting +3.5 at home in a big rivalry game, what does that tell you? It's a huge number, yet you think it's "quiet".
You're beyond clueless if you think NFL wants CHI over GB. 1) GB has a broader national fan base 2) GB sparks intrigue from everything from their potent offense, to Clay Matthews and stout Defense, to the Rodgers validation over Favre. Bears bring what to the table? Their big city? Ok. They have no wow-factor as a team, no special interest story, no charisma.
Good job regurgitating what I just said about "storied franchises" and just slapping Bears on it. Bears = 9 titles, 1 SB. GB = 12 titles (most in NFL), 3 SBs with the most legendary, most recognizeable coach in NFL history's name on the Super Bowl trophy. Yeah, Bears clearly more storied.
