Did you see the nfl network "vote" by fans, like 60% thought SF was going to win SU....lol Refs are like.....I don't think so kids. None of those games matter anyway. So why are you not putting everything on the Packers? I will have every teaser ending with Packers.....

    Wow K13.

I tried to warn you last week about your 49ers going across the country to play a real team, but, you couldn't take your red goggles off.

"Wow, they won by 12 points and the 49ers won by 6"
    1) I love how we made a thread about the Packers v Giants about the 49ers...
    2) The Packers were up by 24 at one point, how many were 49ers up by? We blew them out, nevermind the consolation Megatron TD w/ :10 to play, either...

    "Packers were outplayed and outyarded"
    1) Were they? Were they outplayed? Rodgers threw 10 less passes than Stafford (TEN!), and he still threw for 30 more yards...that's a clinic.
    2) Stafford threw 3 INTs...THAT'S WHO HE IS!
    3) Packers aren't outyarded if they weren't up by 24 and on cruise control, make no mistakes, that was a bonafide blow out.
    4) The stats may look the way they do, because they were so efficient...they got takeaways, and they punched in their chances...that's what good teams do.
    5) The Lions should have ran the ball better than the Packers...we constantly had only 3 and 4 men in the box, tried to neutralize their best weapon, Stafford to Megatron...if you play the Lions and you hold Megatron to 4 catches and not even 50 yards receiving...you'll probably beat them 9 or 10 out of 10 games...the flip side of that is, by paying that much attention to the pass, you let them run for 136 yards, that's how you stop them from throwing for anything relevant to hurt you...that's why Stafford threw 45 passes and didn't even throw for 280 yards!! It's a game plan...for a guy who claims to be an educated football fan, it's funny to read that a team was "outplayed and outyarded" when they blew out their opponent...up 19 with :15 to play in 4th quarter even....

Good teams create turnovers, and they capitalize on them when given the chance...of all people, you should understand this...if the 49ers aren't leading the league this year in turnover ratio, they are .500 team. Bottom line.

"Only a fool would think niners would win in Bal"

Is that right? You must not remember the thread early last week about 49ers v Ravens...I'll give you a little credit, you did temper your hysteria a little, even saying that you thought Ravens would likely win, but that didn't stop you from indulging a little in your own cool-aid...and I'm not saying you're wrong for doing so, heck, I'd admit they DID have a chance to win...but don't come back here and say all this crap how "only a fool thought SF would win SU"...afterall, you did say these things before the game....

I think 'no coincidences' can answer if I was on the Ravens or Niners before the game started....

This was my last post in that ravens-niners thread...

Like I said, the Ravens thing wasn't too bad, but it's not fair to come in here and say that "Only a fool thought the 49ers would win SU"...when even you obviously considered it could have occurred. Sure, you always thought the Ravens would "probably" win...but you clearly even said yourself you were wondering if they, "actually win in this tough spot".

Then to bash the Packers when they won in a blowout and basically pants the Lions on national television? Certainly makes someone question your objectivity....

Hey Billy-I don't share opinion here.Graham & Finley avg 14.3 YPC the difference isn't in talent. It's simply the fact that Rodgers has more guys who all need to get the ball than does Brees.Aaron Rodgers will in fact have an effective play by checking down to the RB's out of the backfield & NYG LB's will cheat up & that's when the secondary will get burnt or finley will be open.Just because Grant & Starks are not as quick as Sproles doesn't mean the same game plan won't work just as well for GB as it did for NO IMO.

My only play so far is a 7 point teaser Balty+.5 to Atl.+4.5 I know it's a division game, but how can Baltimore lose? I know they lost to Seattle, but that was a non-conference game; actually like that this is a division game, they'll be more focused. Colt McCoy and his 5.9 YPA against the Baltimore defense?

    spread down to -6.5

Everyone keeps saying the Packers are burying the books but looks like the books don't even give a crap about the action on the Packers.

So if the books are losing money, which the good ones are not anyway, they only have themselves to blame with these lines right?

Packers are more rested than the Giants because of the Giants recent monday night game.

Not only that, the Packers are better both in offense and defense. Giants only have home field advantage.

I think the Giants come out hard since this is their season....they're not Philly who just rolls over and quits. That being said....No Bradshaw, no Umenyiora, Herzlick at LB who might do well against the run except GB doesn't run to score. Starks will cleanup on checkdown passes (prop bet?). Bradshaw could give GB fits but Jacobs (3.1 ypc) is not comparable whatsover. He's on the downside of his career and the king of the little choppy steps at this point. Bodog paid off an easy easy prop on Eli over 285.5 vs the Saints and he'll prob hit 350 here because Nicks/Cruz are the real deal. Giants hang for a half and then reality strikes....5 days rest compared to 10 is huge here too. Over 52 for me and some juicy props. Eli will carve up GB too.....6.5 looks nice but I'm too scared of the backdoor action (Thats what she said)

    GB 34
    NYY 24

Sorry Packer homers and bandwagon jumpers but Graham is better than Finley now....AND better than Finley before he got hurt....AND ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Graham doesn't have WRs like GBs to spread the field for him. Other teams know he's the main weapon and can't stop him. Graham has made 51 first downs this year....FIFTY ONE....the guy is the best receiving TE I've ever seen since Gates was in his prime. Gates career best 62 first downs & Dallas Clark 59 by comparison. Graham will crush both if he stays healthy!

Bradshaw practiced today. Not sure if he is going to play tho. Its looking like Manningham will be doubtful for the game and probably not play. Brandon Jacobs needs to stop whining and start hitting the holes with power. The key here is for the Giants front four to pressure Rodgers. If they cannot get enough heat on him, he will pick apart the defense a la Drew Brees.

Packers will be without 3 starters for this game, all pro RG Sitton and both starting inside linebackers Hawk and Bishop. Defensive coordinator for the Giants has gone on record as saying the Giants defense is going after Rodgers and is going to hit him often. Does Rodgers need any more motivation, the guy plays with a chip on his shoulder weekly; this just adds to this.
This game will be a war I feel, Giants are going to bring it hard; whether it's good enough is hard to say.

I'm not confident in Giants defense to bring the pass rush, but maybe JPP taking over the reigns for Osi being out will revitalize our pass rush. Counting on Justin Tuck right now is pointless. Also, while I think the Packers win this game, the only reason people believe Giants have a shot at an upset is because Aaron Rodgers/Packers are not built for these cold weather games. Aaron shouldn't tear apart this team like Drew Brees did for the simple fact that Breesus did so on his own dome turf. The only aspect that favors the Giants this sunday is the winter weather and their running game, since Bradshaw is coming back; Otherwise, anybody watching this Giants team is not convinced they are capable of stopping any elite QB right now. Will it happen? I doubt it, and I am a miserable Giants fan.

totally agree this is a classic trap. Green bay looks unstoppable and if there was a spot it was the detroit game. Granted no one thinks any team can go undefeated anymore but this team has all the markings. To many weapons for Giants defense and i agree they are good but rodgers just puts the ball where only his guys can get it. I wont go near this one to many better spots this week. Teasers are for high school girls. this game may offer a good first half. but don't forget G.B seems to make adjustments better than any other team in the league after that. as far as G.B not being built for cold weather when haven't they been? that's like saying the ice bowl was a spring day........spike.........Manicart whats my wife doin as your avatar lol

Giants are a wacky team, going to NE and beating Brady but losing at home to Tavaris Jackson/Charlie Whitehurst.

Giants at 6-5 are still fighting for their playoff lives, plus they seem to fight hard against undefeated teams.

It's hard to pass the live home dog at 3-1, especially factoring GB's MLB injuries on an already suspect run D.

I'm usually optimistic, but I'm giving it a 15% chance the Giants win this weekend. One of those games where so many things need go right. Eli needs to play out of his mind, Giant's pass rush needs to get to Rodgers every time he drops back, the secondary is going to actually have to cover somebody man to man instead of that soft crap zone they've been playing lately.

The Packers and Saints have explosive offenses.

The Giants do not have the defensive players to stop this type of offense.

The line dropped the day Bradshaw was activated to play against GB when he originally wasn't. He's worth half a point, or in this case allowing GB to win by a touchdown = win. So I guess you could call that a full point since buying -7 down to -6.5 is obviously worth more than the standard vig on 0.5 pts. It's not because sharps like you pounded g-men loool

I have not made my play yet.
Bradshaw is still not 100% and 50/50 to play, the line has been going down before any mention of him.

I'm just saying, the next day people are like the Packers buried the books again....well it's not like the books even cared to make the lines higher with all this supposed Packer action.

Go lay down 71k on Packers -6.5 +100 at Pinnacle and you'll know which side sharp really quickly....

Interesting note, Giants futures have gone down 20% the last few days.

Should be a fun game either way.

I think g-men have an advantage vs greenbay matchup wise, and I also lean them to win the superbowl along with Dallas pre-season. Just saying that with current injuries it's not possible at this moment.
