I just always forgot to bet with points cuz I'm busy placing bets with cash. I made an effort this week because I wanted to try a freeplay and a new book since I've never tried that.

why you guys wanna mess with a rigged computer game amazes me. I got a $50 cash play for 600 points & am betting small on 4-5 games a night and have over $300 in it in a little over a week. To me the points can turn into money & I would never throw them away in the casino video game.

because throwing away those points is a lot better than playing in the casinos at my books throwin away my hard earned profit im glad you are more point conscious than i am but really dont think it is necessary to judge as im not judging the fact that free plays are so important to you

We've all been there Reg, don't let anyone tell you different. I tried to help you out the other day but you were in the same shape as you are now, no money to deposit. I had a pretty good night even on my BS plays in the contests. Played Vandy, Cuse spread & ML, played 5 totals for actual dinero. My totals were on a 4-1 run for the night and had a game go into OT. I hate when that shi* happens!!!

Dude, there's 2 or 3 free contests going on right now where you could win enough points to get a free cash play plus brush up on your cappin! Get back to basics. Follow some people that are hot now! No play that I make is 100% pulled out of my ass, they are all with solid info & opinions from other people. Plus I track touts cold & hot streaks. Know when to jump on one or off. WAR had a 1-4 absolutely horrible day today, he'll make money tomorrow. There's always a way and a strategy to make some picks. I went through that in the pointbook. I was having 5-1 & 6-2 nights every night with money but putting 330 points every night on that one loser. If I have to pick just one game I can't do it! I don't know why but I cant. You did what I would do with real money, put the same amount on every play, just weren't the right plays.

It isn't that free plays are so important, but they are money. I find money more important than video games. That's all I'm saying. I can take 600 points & have $300-400 in a week from it or play a video game for 10 minutes that I know is gonna lose. I'll take the money every time. I'm not independentaly wealthy like you I guess.

never said i was but i do ok at this thing we do and if blowing some points saves me from degen moments with real money..if it cost me some free plays so be it, would i rather have the points? sure...but on the flip side sense i been playing around with them it helps keep me from the Boats and my books online casinos so to me blowing them is way more valuable than free plays sometimes.....now if i was down sure i would hold off and get the free play

Ok man, I just don't like it, you do, that's cool! I just don't have a vice or addiction to the shit, that's all. I'm cool with whatever you want to do bro! I'm just sayin with all the points you blow you could be makin money, you say you'd be spendin' money cause you'd do the same thing but for real money. Doesn't make sense to me but to each their own. Save the points & when you get the urge to play casino games at your book take that money & buy some yayo & call some chicks over & fuk like rabbits. Way more fun than video poker! LoL!!

i prefer roulette and blackjack never been a fan of video poker....ive had my share of yayo in my younger years and id say that is a worse habit than blowing some points at SBR casino, not to mention doubt the wifey would be down with the Ho's coming over.....its all good to each is own, gl 2marro and good night

Most lose in the long run , don't let others tell you otherwise.

Best to give it up or just play for fun , impossible to make a profit long term.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I'm a little better this morning, but still can't believe how these events have been unfolding. In terms of points, I only have 7. It would take the longest grind ever to turn 7 points into 450. I wish I was in a little better shape with my points

Fading hasn't worked for me in the past. I'll see that guys like LT hit 57% or so, and blindly follow the days they go 0-2 or 1-3.

2dabank.......you probably don't want my opinion these days, haha! I look at this game as being a MUST-WIN for Old Dominion, if they end up dropping in the Colonial tourny. N Iowa should be a shoe-in for a bid, win or lose in the M-Valley tourny.

The Monarchs have a little more to lose, and I could see Lee exploit N Iowa. Both teams are well coached, and I expect a very entertaining game.

kinda what i was thinking N.Iowa should be in either way, much more important for ODU there front line could have a better time with no Edsleger...N.Iowa just so tough at home im not sure if i can go against them.....just because you have been cold of late does not change the fact i respect your opinion bro...i know you wernt asking for the points but hey it all good just trying to help

I don't know what to tell ya regul8er

I think it has all been said in this thread and your last one you made a few days ago.

I was preaching better money management then and that is what is jumping out at me again. 25% on 4 games for your whole bankroll.?.? Especially when you are in the major funk that you are in when it comes to picking games. It would be a little different if you could keep re depositing, but that doesn't sound like the case.

I know you said you just can't get the thrill from betting $5 or $10 per game, but you need to look at it as you building up your bankroll so you can bet those bigger amounts. The challenge and progress of that should be motivation and give you the thrill of knowing you are getting back to having the roll to make the bigger bets.

you know I am pulling for ya

best of luck whichever direction you decide to go

2dabank, Bracket Busters is designed to help mid-major bubble teams get one big chance to improve their resume, and this years Bracket Buster could benefit Old Dominion more then anyone else. I expect a solid effort, not sure it will be enough though. Whats the spread, I havent even looked. My guess could be N Iowa -7

YA, my money management is BRUTAL. Always has been. I don't lose big amount of money because I don't play with big amounts, but I bet way too high of percentages of my bankroll. I feel like I've lost my a$$ since October 1st, but I went into history on my two sportsbooks to find I'm only down about $850 over the past 5 months. I can handle that, heck only one week of work to fund my books for 20 weeks, not too bad.

WOW, really??? I would not touch that game with a 10 foot pole.

I really like Cornell tonight. They layed an egg at Penn last week, and I expect great focus tonight, to all but lock up the Ivy League.

harder for me to judge ODU as while the Colonial has talented teams they are way more top heavy than the MVC

I had been hitting the Ivy at a nice clip early in the year, but dropped my last few. I think I'm about .500 with maybe a 4 game losing streak. Ivy fills the itch on Friday, cuz I hate the Big Sky

W&M is rock solid away from home. They've beaten Maryland, Wake Forest, Mason away from home. I could see them winning straight up at Iona.
