YUP, this year I was only looking at Big 10, Pac-10, Big East, ACC, Colonial, M-Valley, Mountain West and Ivy.
Although, I havent done very well on the Colonial.

Pac-10 was my bread and butter. I'm currently 12-2 this year. With my situation, it'll probably end at 12-2.

YA, my money management is BRUTAL. Always has been. I don't lose big amount of money because I don't play with big amounts, but I bet way too high of percentages of my bankroll. I feel like I've lost my a$$ since October 1st, but I went into history on my two sportsbooks to find I'm only down about $850 over the past 5 months. I can handle that, heck only one week of work to fund my books for 20 weeks, not too bad.

Next deposit will be after I visit Vegas in a month. Hopefully, hopefully being away from betting real money will clear my head, and bring me much success in Vegas. If so, then maybe I can make a larger deposit, so I'm not risking as big a chunk of my roll.

I'm with you OP, I can't even tail somebody and end up in the green... Suddenly, the "hot" cappers have gone cold when I start tailing them... I'll have a good night, but at the end of the week, my bookie is collecting, not paying out... I do my homework, just like you and think long and hard about my picks, and feel like I'm making wise choices, only to be on the opposite side of the money... I too had Wiscy, and West Car last night, as well as Marquette, Gonzaga, Den/CLE Under, Bos/Lakers Over, Fla Atl, Ole Miss, CAL, so on and so forth... A tear rolls down my cheek as I look at the word "LOSE" all across my screen.... My one saving grace last night was going LARGE on St Mary's CA... If I didn't hit that, I'd be fleeing the country right now...

We could stand side by side, and pat each other on the back... I don't have an addiction, rather enjoy making sports that I love more interesting. I'm not in this to make a living, but it is sickening when all you want to do is win SOMETHING, and you can't win ANYTHING... Maybe it's time to just walk away quietly... Or, simply reduce your bets... Bet 5$ instead of $50... At least you'll still have fun watching these games, hoping you win, and when you lose, you're losing chump change...

I honestly try to do the same, but I've been finding my 1-4 plays just lose, so I tried to switch it up as I was losing too much money, too fast and trying to play catch up (which we all know NEVER works)... So I tried to spruce up my money management, and add a few plays, betting smaller amounts, trying my absolute best to make "smart" plays keeping my 1 or 2 "BIG" plays for a given day... The system looked like it would work, and if I could have a "good day" I'd be in the green quite nicely. Or, if I have an "OK" day and my littles miss and my big hits, I'm even... However, my luck has proven that I can't win dick, so I continue to lose, lose, lose no matter what plays I make. I'll have 1 good night in a given week... I've even tried giving up on making my own plays, only to get caught in the "cold streaks" of the "best" cappers here... I tell ya man, I just can't win!!!

I think both you and profit have valid points! I'm doing it as an experiment/trial to try out different books without risking anything, bank does it to release, and profit does it to profit they are all good reasons as long as they help us and not hurt us good talk gentlmen and good luck to us all

You chased. That's why you blew it all. I did the same thing when I started. It makes a bad day worse when you just make late night bets. There's so many games you could have used that on today, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday....

My advice is to try to get a free roll with your points here. Play one game a day with the money. I've hit $200 betting $5 a game (starting at $20) doing this. So just learn from your mistakes and discipline yourself. You'll find yourself on the right side the next time.

Regul8 I also had Boston in the 2H I was only +2.5, I really needed just one more basket, it was agonizing !! I did however have them in the game also. You need to conserve enough to stay betting. Too bad you blew your last wad in one shot.
There is always action every day, staying alive is key. Tonight Boston owes me for that 2 half and I believe they will give it back. Columbia is my cbb play.

Anyway you have to put your feet to the fire and treat betpoints seriously now.
If I had points in wallet when I saw this I would give you some, but mine are all on Columbia. Like you I neglected betpoints but now you have to play them with a vengeance and build up for that FREEPLAY. Look at the SBR Store and see the plays you can get.. DO IT.

Well I had 50 pts, and put my remaining 25 on two games today. People, you can't make this stuff up, you really can't.

1) Temple/St. Joe's UNDER 128.5.
Game is way under pace the whole way. St. Joe's hits a shot with 4 seconds left to go up 59-57. Yeah Baby, I won. Nope, Temple goes down the floor and hits a layup with less then a second left. They score combined 24 points in OT, I get mangled.

2) Seton Hall +11.5
I'll take this many points with Seton Hall anyday of the week. 64-60 WV with about 2:15 to go, and Seton Hall has the ball. OK, Seton Hall misses a shot, and fouls right away! WV hits both free throws 66-60. Seton Hall misses a 3 pointer, WV gets the board. WV uses all the clock misses a desperation 3, gets the offensive board and gets fouled, 68-60. Seton Hall misses another 3, and fouls. WV makes one, 69-60. Seton Hall misses easy layup, WV rebound gets fouled, 71-60. Seton Hall then makes layup, 71-62 and fouls. WV hits first free throw, misses second, and gets offensive board, foul, hits both 74-62. Then Seton Hall gets fouled with 0:20 left, and hits one of two. 74-63. OK, you figure game is over. Down 11 with 0:20 left, just dribble the clock out, and I get the much deserved win. NO Way, not with me betting the game. Seton Hall proceeds to foul, WV hits both 76-63. Seton Hall then turns it over, doesn't even get a shot up, and then decides to let the clock run out when I actually needed a foul.

About 10 years ago, I took a weekend trip to Vegas and I am not shitting you that I lost 97% of my bet's on Blackjack and craps. I normally win on Blackjack and very rarely have bad streaks but this was unreal. I shit you not, I lost 97% of the hands. I went from table to table, casino to casino. I dropped 7G's in 2 days and I didn't play that many hands. It was like a horror movie. It was as if the cards were cursed. I would push on blackjack and get 21 while the dealer would be sitting on blackjack. I'd double down into dealer's 5/6's and get creamed. The dealers were killing me. I lost all over the strip and even downtown. I went to the dump casino's and the top of the line, it didn't matter.

I'd go on the craps table and get buried. Establish a point, 7 out, establish... 7 out. I'd play don't pass and player would hit every point. I make a line bet and crap out 5, 6 times in a row. I play any crap and I then couldn't buy one.

I was actually scared to fly home after that weekend. I was shaking on the plane after what went down. My luck was so bad I thought the plane might crash. I was truly cursed that weekend.

Your having a bad streak but trust me it's not even close to what I experienced that week. I kept trying and trying but I couldn't win. The God's were against me. The more I pushed, the more I lost. I went back to Vegas a few months later and I did ok.

If it's not your time, then it's not your time. Quit playing and enjoy the games for fun. At least lower your bet's and don't play that many games total.
