That is not accurate.. Go back adn look at EVERY play. I have them all listed. if I made a mistake I apologize and I certainly want to keep accurate records as we move forward. I'll double check as well.

Ok. went back and double checked. 48-52 with 5* Titans, 5-1 ATS with 10* Titans and 1-0 ATS with 20* Titans. That play was Temple plus eight defeating then No. 4 Duke 78-73. Everyone agree? Let's update the record the following day together and we can work together in checks and balances to make sure every record post is 100% accurate. Thanks.

Last night was certainly tough losing TWO 5* by 1 or 1/2 point, but still counts as a 25 point loss. These happen, but again do not focus on line movements for my plays. I will post the line accordingly, and simply make the play.

    Time r for an adjustment

    John,

Appreciate all your hard work and honestly your handicapping analysis is 2nd to nobody. t's been a real tough run with your picks over the last few weeks and many have not even been close.

Hoping you can turn it around and be a bit more selective if possible when giving out the titans which have performed poorly in recent weeks. You have a thankless job either a hero or a zero....but you put yourself out there providing us with your picks and I appreciate it.

    BOL

"As many of you already know I always seem to preach the power of the DOG when playing the money line sports of the NHL and MLB. Here is awesome money line system that has hit just 40% winners, but has made a whopping 71.3 units per one unit wagered since 1997. Play on a road team using the money line that is a struggling shooting team making less than 40% of their shot attempts and is now facing an average defensive team allowing 42.5 to 45% shooting. The average play has been a +185 DOG so write this one down and track it for your benefit as the season moves on"-John Ryan

Where could I find statistics for a teams overall FG%? I found statistics for the NBA, and it seems not many teams at all shoot below 40%, so that would not qualify. The only team that does is Sacramento, which is currently shooting 39.6%. It would seem to reason that these % occur more often in CBB. I have not been able to locate these statistics for CBB. If anyone knows, please share a link for all of us.

Yes, Dartmouth was on the front page and will count as a loss too. 50-54 with 5* Titans, 5-1 ATS with 10* Titans and 1-0 ATS with 20* Titans. be back in a bit with Saturday's plays.

john my card today as follows

    St Johns+19
    WV + 12
    Oklahoma +9
    SD ST -2
SD is probably a huge public play but they are playing so well on the road. I just like what i see and something seems to be wrong with CSU.

5* Colorado State + 3 -110 playing San Diego State
    5* Northern Iowa + 1 1/2 playing Missouri State

10* Virginia + 2 -110 playing NC State. This line may move to 2 1/2 so I am going to try to get at least that and use the afternoon to watch the flows since this game starts at 8 PM

I had these also on the NBA thread completely by mistake..

10* graded play on Virginia as they take on North Carolina State in ACC action set to start at 8:00 PM ET. My proprietary sports handicapping database and simulator shows a high probability that Virginia will win this game by three or more points. Supporting this graded play is a system that has produced a record of 31-6 ATS for 84% winners since 2006. Play on road teams where the line is +3 to -3 and is a struggling offensive team scoring between 63 and 67 points per game and now facing an average defensive team allowing 67 to 74 PPG, after 15 or more games have been played and after a combined score of 115 points or less. There are many criteria to this system, but each one supports Virginia in this game and under scores the advantages Virginia has offensively against a largely inconsistent NC State defense. UVA ranks 248th scoring 64.4 PPG, 207th getting 34.3 boards per game, 187 getting 12.7 assists per game, and 90th connecting on 45.7% of their shot attempts. This offense will be going up against State’s 201st scoring defense allowing 68.6 PPG and I strongly believe UVA will have one of their best offensive games tonight. UVA defense ranks second in the nation allowing 50.1 PPG. first allowing just 7.1 assists per game, and best allowing just 27.2 opponent rebounds per game. I strongly believe that the UVA defense will overwhelm NC State and ultimately UB+VA will dominate both ends of the floor. Take Virginia.

John, when you say combined score of 115 or less, do you mean the 2 participating teams combined individual scores in their previous games? So VA's point total their last game + NC State's point total their last game?

No, it would for the last game of that team and that respective opponent. So, if we are playing against a road team, then that score of 115 points total would apply to the team being played against. If the system is a play on teams, than obviously, it would be the applied to that team's last game.

48-52 with 5* Titans, 5-1 ATS with 10* Titans and 1-0 ATS with 20* Titans entering Friday night. So, went 2-2 Friday with winners on OVER Stoney Brook and Harvard (65-35 over Yale), and losers on Dartmouth and Marist.

Saturday, went 1-0 with 10* play on UVA. won with Colorado State 77-60 installed as 3 point dogs over San Diego State and Lost with Northern Iowa over Missouri State. So, add three wins and three losses each to the 5* record and add another win to the 10* record.

    51-55 ATS for 5* plays , 6-1 ATS for 10* plays , and 1-0 ATS for 20* plays.

    Hello everyone,

First time post on the site after observing for for quite awhile. I have read a lot of different approaches to betting and or capping guys "claim" on this and many other sites. And none of them are truly as good as they claim. We all know that. I have been gambling for over 30 years and I am sure they are lot of other people on this site that can say the same thing AND probably longer! I have always managed my money very carefully and never get caught up in emotion with a bet and SOMETIMES that is tough especially when you are a lifelong Packer fan!! Bruatal ending to thier season!!!

I have also followed John Ryan's plays for awhile now and it always amazes me how many guys won't due their own homework and take the time time to prooperly cap a game or event. Instead they anxiously await for guys like John Ryan and other good cappers to post their picks and then ride along. Now that is all well and good, but Jesus, when he loses a game here or there simply has a bad night and loses every bet on a given night, many of the guys who were asking John when he was going to post his plays are the first guys to criticize John for a bad night! I just don't get it. We are all big boys and girls and we know what we are risking when we bet. But to follow a guy and then complain when he loses....just does not make any sense to me!! If you don't like his picks then don't follow him.

He has never aksed for money and never says "this pick is a winner". He just does ALOT of homework and posts the plays FOR US ALL TO SEE because he wants to help. I don't know John Ryan, but I will say thank you for several bets that I followed you on over the past few weeks. Gambling is a long process that takes a lot of patientce and if John so chooses, he could just stop posting. Don' think many of us want that to happen.

John, good capping skills and keep up the good work! I do enjoy reading your insights. It gives me good perspective as I don't always follow your picks, but when we do agree on one, I like to increase my bets a little. Has worked pretty well for me.

Thanks again and it woudl be nice to see a little less bashing on a guy that puts his picks AND reputation on the line EVERY DAY!

Love the site and postings of many!
