Happy Monday fellas. Well, yesterday didn't quite turn out the way I had hoped. Good ol Rudy staked me 200K and I bet 109 K on the under in green bay and won.. I also bet the LA Lakers ML for 91K.. all in all I made 18K. I was all set the pay back Rudy but the Lakers didn't seem to hold up their end of the deal.. So today I really need to win this bet and bring all the dough back to Philly, and of course pay back from Texas friend. There's only 3 games on tap in the NBA and there's 1 CFB game.. I want to put the whole $ 200,000 on an NBA play but might bet one there and the CFB as well. I need to go 2-0 then... I'll be plainly forthright and honest.. I'm really feeling the interchanging pressure and it makes my stomach churn like butter right out of the well in the heart of the dairy farm.. My lovely understand blushing bride wants me home badly.. she's worried I've gone too far and thinks I have a real gambling problem.. I reassure her nightly that everything's fine... My cousin and 2 friends are handling this pretty well. they're men and know the risks when putting your dough in the hands of others. Rudy called me this morning as we were sitting down to breakfast at the lovely Jamm's Restaurant I had the Babalama omelet and it was just divine! I have to let you in all about something.. Late last night when the Lakers ripped and stripped my outer core away piece by piece, I left my suite at the gracious Sky Lofts and sauntered downstairs to the casino. Its funny I bet on sports however I never got into gambling at the casino. I just needed some air and time to think... I notice after a tough loss I need to unwind and let my inhibitions out.. one by one.. So I see a black jack table with only 2 people at it and I calmly sit down without even looking up to murmur hello.. I flop 50 bucks on the red table and say here.. 50.. I'm not there to win just take my mind away from the upcoming days travails.. To my immediate left was a guy maybe 55 small man.. glasses and a beer by his side.. to my right.. was a gorgeous female persuasion who had the sweetest smile i've seen in a while. As you all know I'm a happily married man and love my new bride utterly and completely.. However a guys gotta look sometimes... I say in my coolest voice.. Nice dress... funny this was she was wearing blue jeans... I felt like such a moron.. I smile brightly to unmask her sudden facial grin.. I mean i like your sweater.. Blue is my favorite color.. I'm color blind..not sure if you all knew that. Turns out she laughed and its purple silly! Right then and there I knew she wanted me... I mean a guy can just tell ya know.. I have to go have a hearty lunch now with the guys and I'll be back to finish the story and of course post my larger than life play!!! Sammy needs a miracle this night..
