Yeah but Gay actually tries and his not a jackass to say so. He's just not that good to say so but he plays to his role. Unlike Smith who is top 5 in 3PA per game this season. Yes, you read it right.

I've watched Gay play a lot and he scores points but if you watch the games it takes him a ton of shots and a lot of them are bad shots.

He isn't very efficient. You go 10 of 30, score 25 points, and your team loses by double digits. What good does that do?

I'm pretty sure the Grizzlies had a better record and played better as a team when he was injured. Both of the playoff runs they have made in the last few years were without Gay.

Josh Smith for sure is a cancer. Gay can be clutch, poor decisions but a good shooter.

Did anyone catch the respective performances of these clowns last night?

Smith has 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 0 blocks in 36 minutes at Portland. Was he trying to avoid the ball? In 36 minutes, you should trip and fall and put up more numbers than that.

Rudy Gay took the cake, though. 11 for 37? 37?!?!?

    Two losers on full display.

Josh smith is a joke o an nba player and so are Detroit for signing him.
Rudy Gay is a good player but certainly not great, seems to fit the raptors though.

also can't believe no one has mentioned Andre igloudala is another very very overatted so called star. 57% free throw shooting hmmmm.

and one last one to leave you with.....joe Johnson, how is he a $20 mil player?

sorry for hijacking your thread no coincidences

No, go right ahead. I can't argue with any of the pieces of shit you just added to this list.

I live in Toronto and watch Rudy Gay on a steady basis...he is without question one of the most overpaid players in the NBA....but he is the only player on his team barring Derozen who can knock down a game winner when you need it but his efficiency is worse than Kobe's.......

This pretty much sums up Josh Smith.
