This should go 6 or 7, Memphis doesnt have the youth advantage they had last year against S.A. Their a little overvalued for this series because of last year IMO. Still, they play good ball in the halfcourt, with Conley running the show. KMart and Evans should see a fair amount of action, I can see Jordan getting in foul trouble quite a bit as I think Gasol is too crafty for him.

I don't really think Clippers have that much of a chance. Tony Allen and Conley are going to keep CP3 in check, and Blake and DJ gonna have to play some serious D to contain Gasol and Z-Bo. Didn't even mention Gay or OJ, too much work for CP3 i think Grizz in 5 or 6 most likely 6

Injuries could now be a factor. Cp3 is injury prone.

This series is going to be a home court battle...the clips clearly can't handle playing in memphis with that crowd, but I think they hold their own on their home court later in the series.

I think your right, this series is going back to LA w/ Grizz up 2-0. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 2-2 after 4 games.

I saw this coming before the series started(see my post page 1 of this thread =p). Thought Paul could pull them through. I don't like bold comments like mine, but I really believe my comment. Vinny Del Negro couldn't coach his way out of the pee wees. Pauls groin is obviously bothering him- no Paul, no series. Clippers are a cooked goose.

They might put up a fools gold type of fight but they are definitely done in this series.

That turnaround changes everything. WHAT THE HELL happened?

Checked my 1stQ bet at the movies and they were up 34-16... got to my buddy's house and it was 96-93 to the grizz and they managed to lose??

    jeez.

Not sure what to think now. It's going to be an interesting series. Can Hollins get his team mentally prepared for what is now a must-win Game 2?

Fractured left hand. Guy came out in a suit 15 minutes after injury

Caron Butler has been diagnosed with a fractured left hand, and his status going forward is unclear.
We have to assume that this will sideline Caron for a significant amount of time, unless it's a very minor hairline fracture -- the fact that it was diagnosed so quickly via X-ray, however, is not encouraging. If Butler does miss games, the Clippers will be forced to turn to Bobby Simmons or Ryan Gomes, and/or to deploy Nick Young more at SF. Apr 30 - 12:01 AM
