I'm thinking of going huge on Grizzlies series against the Clippers.

Homecourt is gonna be a monster factor and Grizzlies play great defensive basketball.

Chris Paul is gonna get his and keep them close at the end of the games but can they rely on anyone else other than him? Blakes' game is really flawed? Randy Foye has been hot lately but can he deliver come playoff time?

This Memphis team already showed they can make deep runs and having Gay and everyone else healthy this year is a huge factor, plus this is Tony Allen's best year offensively so I guess that counts for a lot.

Man that's going to be series to watch. I want to take Memphis but now Vegas knows how good they are, clippers are an untested playoff group and the value wont be there

Do you have any idea of the odds yet? I like the play a lot, was actually hoping they wouldn't get homecourt to get a better odds on this, I think they'd win regardless.
    -140 maybe? I'd take that.

Memphis won't lose at home to this team in the playoffs anyway, I really can't see that happening. Thinking of going big on a Grizz-4 or so line in game 1 if that's what we get.

Clipps matchup well with the Grizz. Grizzlies should take this, but Clipps have the size to defend Zbo/Gasol/Speights. And Clipps definitely have an edge on the perimeter. Someone on the Grizz (Mayo?) is going to have to step up and hit shots from the outside.

Excluding the 4-5 matchups, the only team I think that is on upset alert is the Thunder. If the Mavs can steal one of the first two games in OKC.....watch out.

Speights doesn't play defense. Honestly neither does Z-bo and Gasol is soft although he can guard the rim. Memphis' size will benefit them more on the offensive end than the defensive end.

I would like to see Memphis win this series but I am not convinced that they beat the Clippers. It's not a series worth betting on much if you ask me.

Don't forget the Clipps beat the Grizz two out of three.

Grizz are the better team, but if it is close in the 4th quarter, Clipps have a lot of good shooters who can score in the 4th quarter (Cp3, Nick Young, Mo Williams). Grizzlies perimeter scoring is their only weakness. OJ Mayo needs to show up in the playoffs this year.

Memphis have so many bigs to burn fouls on Griffin and Jordan to some extent.

Griffin will have to hit his ft's or LAC will be in trouble .

Clippers play 4 on 5 on offense. They don't have a back up center, and Deandre Jordan isn't a playoff center he can't knockdown freethrows either, has no game, fouls out of games. Mo Williams choked in the playoffs as a number 2 to Lebron. Vinny Del Negro was clueless in the playoffs when he coached the Bulls. They lost home court. Blake Griffin can't knock down freethrows. Caron Butler isn't mr. reliable. Randy Foye is hot and cold.

Alot of things have to align for the Clippers to get out of the first round. Not a series worth going huge on for either side though.

    Can't say that yet.

I would consider Clips at +150 or better

Why do people still overhype the Clippers. They are a common team with a great point guard.

I guess I am alone in thinking Clippers have a better shot of stealing a game in Memphis that the Grizzlies do of winning a game in LA. Clips played great defense down the stretch while going 14-5 (14-3 with Paul) and Randolph not being 100% hurts Grizz. Clippers in 6

Clippers in 6 here as well LT Profits.

Only if OJ Mayo averages around 20 a game do the Grizzlies have a shot imo. Blake Griffin has gone from overrated to really underrated in my mind as I don't think people realize that he actually has more scoring ability than most big men in the league. Good luck to Z-Bo trying to guard a guy that can crossover on the perimeter, has a 36 inch vertical and is 6-11 260 or something. Oh, you mean Gasol is going to guard him and z bo will be on Jordan? I predict 3 lobs a game for Jordan, then, and Chris Paul feasting on the pick 'n roll.

What makes you so sure? I would take Memphis if i had to pick but I already mentioned earlier why they will have some issues. Randolph is all of a sudden back in the starting lineup. Why would Hollins wait until the playoffs to make that move.

Zero value in the Grizzlies unless you don't mind paying juice that high. I think the Hawks actually have some value, that is if you think the Hawks can beat the Celtics. I've never been a big fan of "series bets."

Paul I beg to differ and like the Clippers @ +175
considering I believe they have more star talent
and may even get some favoritism from the league office.
