Call me SQAURE---- MY GAME OF THE YEAR----BOSTON

I just cant pass this up.

    Boston +7 -105.

Ive watched this Philly team night after night. They are struggling and there is tension in the locker room right now. They are playing with no identity. Noway do they deserve to be laying 7 even to this old tired Boston team right now.

    Boston +7 (-105) 5x
    Boston ML +250 1x

Did you mean Boston ML +250?

Anyways, Boston is not usually a good team on the tail end of a B2B, but I'm with you on this one. I think this will be a close game with Boston covering. Good luck.

Hey, they played a tough game vs the Lakers in LA and almost won that one (they did cover the +6 easily). Then the very next night, the Celtics beat the Clippers and dominated the 2nd half and the game wasn't close (a time when the Clippers were playing better ball than they are currently).

So its certainly in the realm of possibility that the Celtics can not only cover, but win SU tonight. It will take a very good effort to do as Philly is a desperate team too, so who knows if they're satisfied of a .500 guarantee on this 8-game road trip.

This is a national tv game tonight (ESPN) . You don't think Boston knows that ?? IT will be interesting to see how boston does here and if they can continue the energy they showed last night

The thing is , during the pregame show vs ATL the other night they had an interview with GM Danny Ainge and he brought up how they must play better on b2b's (as he was describing the team in a general fashion, and he mentioned the b2b problem totally unprovoked)

So they are VERY aware as a team on how poorly they've been on road b2b's the last 2 seasons . It's no secret in that locker room

For many of the reasons PR9 is pointing out, as well as the current state in the Philly lockeroom, I really think 7 is way to much tonight. This game could go either way IMO and could definitely come down to the wire. There is something going on between Coach Collins and Evan Turner right now... as well as Iggy not being happy the way things are going. As a fan, I am fearful of this team even slipping down and missing the playoffs after such a promising start to the yr.

I agree that 76ers may slip and not even make the playoffs, but only if both BOST and KNICKS finish as strong as they are playing now. Tonight though i like the 76ers -7

Good luck, but I just don't see how you can justify BOS on a b2b asthe game of the year. Either way, Good Luck

While this is a b2b for Boston, it is only their 2nd game in 5 nights.

So its not like your regular b2b situation playing 3 or 4 games in 5 nights. Its just their 2nd in the last 5 nights. And they are off tomorrow, so its not a 2nd leg of a b2b2b either,

My gut feeling, after listening to them speak last night after the MIL game, is that they spent those 3 days off preparing for both of these games vs MIL and PHI, not just one of them.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure he is done for the season because he had to have some type of surgery on his heart.

I like 76ers at home. Boston is not exactly the youngest team Garnett Pierce Allen etc. Like Philly at home since boston just played. Also Philly plays well against boston.

Guys this number is just too large.... And it's growing.

RLM it seems as well, favoring 76ers.

Don't do it- 76ers or lay off.

Agreed. 65% on BOS yet the line has moved from -5.5 to -7?????? That's a lot of RLM.

I with you on the Celtics. The number ticked up to + 7 1/2 and I just couldn't resist. Celtics are a decent team and I don't see them laying down. Respect Sixers, but can't say they've been playing well (against solid teams) and Boston should be itching for some payback. Just logged in to check numbers and Celtics drifted down to + 6 1/2 now. Should be a good game to watch. Gl

nothing would surprise me here. It should be a close game on national tv.

But a 20 point win by Philly, or a 20 point win by Boston (with Philly's internal tension) would not surprise me either way. If the 4-20 at home Hornets can beat down the Clippers when the clippers were so desperate for a win, anything can happen here.

overall I like betting on down teams that have internal problems (see Clips recently as they have not covered something like 11 of their last 15 games, as well as the knicks when they were down, and portland when they sucked for a good stretch tuning out coach McMillan - Betting against teams with internal problems are money makers)

The Clips were 7 and 6 point favorites for a stretch when they weren't covering games as well. Hell, losing to the Nets straight up, not covering vs Detroit , and not covering vs a bunch of poor teams with the same spread

I think Philly comes and rapes Boston again. Especially after getting caught in that Knicks hot streak

Exactly. I understand people backing Boston, but to say it is the game of the year is hard to believe. Hundreds of games this year, and you choose this as the game of the year? Not here to judge you though dlunc, obviously you see something you really like in BOS.

I think its more to do with dlunc being an avid sixers fan and recognizing its a team with things going on internally. Much like Portland, the knicks before the coaching change, and the clippers recently

something just isnt right with them if you've watched them play over the past while

ray alln out isnt good for them.

1st Q or 1H play on the sixers. I will decide during the pregame show. Regardless of the outcome I think Philly starts the game better after that awful 1st Q against the knicks

The worst thing is that the Celtics will just plain quit at this point. Celts will unload the bench and Phily will blow them out just like last time.

Who is supposed to be guarding Elton Brand anyways, he is killing the box score. Who ever it is is clearly a ghost out there.
