yeah tab don't offer good odds, however i sacrifice that sometimes if i want to go into my local TAB so i can cash straight away, i believe centrebet.com.au is a great book i recommend them, i've had no problems whatsoever and it's really easy to set up withdrawing and depositing, i rarely have to wait longer than 2 minutes to place a live bet too

So I'm backing Memphis again today for a few reasons, firstly I really liked the way the Grizzlies handled the Pistons yesterday. They never let them into the game with only a minor slip in the 3rd, Rudy Gay has been playing great and Allen/Conley have been very efficient. I like the match ups to favour Memphis in this game in a big way and I think the Grizzlies guards will be able to do a much better job defending Evans/Thornton than what the Spurs did. Another reason for my bet is that I think the Kings are in a perfect spot to get blown out after a surprising but very rewarding win in San An. I believe the line portrays a view that they are hoping the public perceives the spread as being a sure thing for the Kings to cover after a nice win...

Nothing too in depth here, the last time OKC played they lost to the Wizards in a game where they didnt play with much urgency or aggression, that was on Wednesday. I think that they come into this game to get back on track and will dominate the Nets in every way. OKC have always started strong and then lapse in the second half so there is a small chance that Williams helps the Nets cover but I am confident that OKC put the hammer down and win this by 10-15.
NYK +2.5 (2x)
Dodgy line, dodgy Knicks team...I think the Knicks owe it to themselves and their fans to win this one. They have been extremely sloppy offensively and I think this is the game where they start to click. Nene is a possible out, which would certainly help but I think that the Knicks will come out firing in this one.

TAB is also an important part of the arsenal because they have the best odds on certain selections reasonably regularly. Of the books I use the TAB would take about a the third most volume at the moment.
Sportsbet for me. Usually pay an extra 5Cents over the TAB Sportsbet. Tab Sportsbet does not have the variety as well sometimes eg 1h, lvie betting.
U guys should be taking advantage of using Pinnacle, i used to use all the aussie books, till i found Pinnacle, always better odds, the option of buying or selling points, biggest betting limits, the ability to bet live online for some games... The best option for live betting is Bet 365, lower odds, but able to bet anytime during the game of pretty much anything from NFL to under 21's Dandenong soccer league...
If u start winning with sportsbet or IASbet they restrict ur betting to a fraction of what u want to bet

you hit the nail on the head with that one, having too many options is sometimes a bad idea, i for one lacked discipline in the past, especially on a quiet day, but you definitely get a better deal on american sports, i like the option of buying the hook too.

do you locals juice their lines like crazy or are they not too bad?
I have to use Pinnacle because standard lines here and so juiced. I only really use our local book when their lines are stale and offshore moves
they juice pretty bad, but the good thing about them for me is a) the instant cash in hand, especially on a big wager and b) they update the lines so slowly so if you are monitoring it on vegas insider or whatever and you see some line movement going against your bet or whatever you can get in and wager before it changes..

hey mate, not sure about the victory's record in WA, and the glory are having some big defensive injuries, but as you said mehmet/smeltz are looking sharp, the weather isn't particularly hot today but it is extremely humid and has been for the past week, i'll be making a small play on the glory for some action, i also think there will be a few goals scored this game...it could definitely end in a draw though.

TAB's great for the instant cash and the characters you see there, but they offer 1.87 odds on most sports which makes winning in the long run even harder. Have noticed with TAB's NBA lines that they usually don't move but get juiced instead. The Twolves/Clips over was near the opener but it was only paying 1.65. The flip side is you can occasionally find value plays at 2.00 for public fade opportunities.
Those touch screen betting machines are pretty handy for live betting but can be deadly. It's entertaining to watch guys feeding money into them throughout games and losing just about every bet.

Pats -8.5 @2.02
Typical of what they do, get most punters on what looks like the better play at terrible odds, with a good chance of cleaning up if Pats blow out the Ravens.

Do you like the over at all in the lakers game?
both teams have struggled some what on the offense end in their last performances and lakers play real good D at home, the line appears to be so low but i think its very sharp...that been said if i had to play it i would play the over. i prefer the lakers line though good luck

Wizards have been playing better ball lately and 14 is a lot of points. If the Wizards continue to play the way they have been I can see them covering this spread, they have the athleticism and youth to match the Sixers. The question is if they can keep it up for the full four quarters. Wall should be able to do his thing, I think the key to this game is getting a bit more production from their bench. Hawes who is a game time decision doesnt worry me, i'm not bothered either way if he plays or not, if he plays i dont think he will be in form and the Washington bigs should be able to get it done. It's always a worry betting on a team like the Wizards but with 14 points to give i think they can get this done for me.

I think the Rockets are a better team and I like them in this spot and I think they will look to improve their road record in this very winnable game. The Wolves are only contenders when Love puts up big numbers both on the boards and on the points, if the Rockets and pressure Love into taking some bad shots and prevent him from getting into rhythm i can see them comfortably winning this game.

Don't really have much to say about this game, even with Rondo I don't see the Celtics winning this. Back to back, banged up Allen, injured Rondo. Dwight should destroy Jermaine and he may have to result in hacking Dwight to stop him.
I was on the Lakers -5.5 as well. Watched the first, thought, cool, all is going well. Went away and came back to find them down by 2 with 8.7 left in the 4th - WTF...............
A little iffy on the Wiz. Philly have been pretty good at home covering large spreads.....
